"Yummy, classy smoke"
I love this cigar. Beautifully constructed, elegant cigar. If you smoke these, you stand out as an aficionado of stature and know a good value when you it. A first rate smoke, with complex flavors and uniqueness of the land. You will want to eat it, as it oozes creamy mocha flavors, rich body, and a slightly sweet appeal. I highly recommend this smoke, especially for newer aficionados looking to move up from more value-based smokes. Enjoy with an espresso, rich coffee, coca cola, powerful Spanish red, brunello, or after dinner cordial. Delicious, kudos to the makers of this good cigar.

"inconsistant but good!"
I smoked two of these one week apart from the other. The first was fantastic, great draw great flavors and an even burn. The second one a week later wasnt as good. Still had a decent draw but a real uneven burn and had trouble staying lit. These were both in my humidor with no change in conditions. The flavor was still good on the second. A great smoke, just needs to be more consistant.

"not sure if we r smoking the same stick...."
I'm a definite newbie, but this was one of the smoothest drawing cigars I have ever had. Too bad some of the reviewers got tight sticks. Little confused over the size designation (the Dbl. Corona is 7x50...not 7.5)...but certainly agree w/ the smokers that gush over this great stick. Only had it in the humi for 3 months, but still got the leather and coffee. Also some of the thickest plumes of smoke of any cigar I've ever smoked. I can't wait to get a box and stock it away for a year or so...if I can keep my hands off them in the meantime. A new favorite.

"Good value."
This is one nice looking cigar. Box pressed with a beautiful dark wrapper. Pre light draw was kind of tight with a bit of coffee and nuts. After lighting up this is exactly what I got, smooth coffee and nuts. A mild-medium. Might have had more flavor if the draw was better. The draw was too tight for me, however this had only a few days of rest time. Nearing the end the nuttiness increased, and it started to get bitter. Luckily before I put it down a raisin-like flavor came through. Very nice. Smoked it almost to the nub. A good hour and 45 minute cigar. I would buy another but let it rest a little longer. This is my second Torano cigar and I look forward to trying others.

"Great Smoke"
Always a few of these in my humi. A very consistent cigar from the start right to the nub, doesn't start out weak and finish bitter like a lot of smokes. Construction is decent. If it is fresh out of the box it might canoe if you don't watch it. After a month in the humidor at 68% they burn fine. Taste is fantastic, slightly chocolate with hints of nuttiness and or leather. Very Smooth, get some!!

"Tastes almost as good as it looks"
This huge cigar looks and feels gorgeous with its dark and silky wrapper and severely pressed shape. There are no big problems with the construction. It's medium-bodied with wood and chocolate flavors and a touch of grass; it tastes good but it's not quite the rich, decadent smoke that the cigar's appearance suggests. Still, it only costs around $4 and for the size it's an exceptional value.

"Almost perfect"
If you look at my other reviews, you'll see I'm fairly critical, and don't gush over cigars. I make exception with this one. Nice appearance, and not too much of a stand-out pre-light aroma. I wasn't sure what I would be in for. The first few puffs were very floral, and I was curious as to how the rest of this cigar would go, especially since it was a big one. It was beautiful. Warm floral notes with hints of leather and a touch of nuttiness. This was an hour and fifteen minutes of bliss. I loved every bit of this smoke. Medium strength, but a very full and tasty flavor. For $5.29, this is one of the best cigars I have had for the price. The only issue was a relight I needed to do at the end, when the cigar went out due to construction. Otherwise, it was just amazing. Buy one of these. Now.

"Fabulous value in a full-bodied stick"
The "silver" double corona I consider to be the ligher version of this cigar, which is also quite good. This one to be enjoyed for 60-90 minutes. Full-bodied and silky smooth. When you factor in the price, it's hard to imagine finding much better in better cigar. The burn is a bit uneven, and the draw is somewhat tight, but it's packed with flavor that remains very consistent from start to finish. Hints of walnut permeate the experience. You don't have to spend alot for top quality, and this cigar proves it.

A great buy -- woodiness, cedar, slightly spicey -- medium to medium full-bodied at the end. Starts out with great straight-forward tobacco aroma and gets richer and fuller as you go.

"A Fine Stick"
This is a great looking cigar- nice wrapper and great size. I was a bit disappointed with the construction as draw was tighter than I like, but that's my only hold-up with this cigar. Nice woody and leathery flavors with something else I couldn't quite put my finger on. It's a light medium bodied smoke for a decent price (but looks like I overpaid).

"Good, not great"
Got this cigar as a sample, and after reading some reviews I thought it would be a great smoke. It has a wonderful looking construction, but was disappointed with the overall experience. Was a hard draw, a slightly harsher flavor than I was hoping for, and overall disappointing. At the price it was ok (again, a sample), and I would agree that at it's normal price it's probably worth it. However, I can find others that are a better experience, and I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe I was hoping for more.

"Well DG..."
when you're right, you're right. I've been nursing a box of these for going on two years. I remember not being impressed until they aged around 3 months. Can't think of a cigar that has aged better than this one. Flavors are smooth and strong with just a hint of bite, somewhere between a CT Signature and a CAO Extreme. Age this one for a year and you won't be disappointed.

"Good Not Great"
This one is a beauty to look at, to feel, and to smoke. The flavor however on this one is a bit young I think, the taste was slow getting started. But it improved and changed a few times. Think I'll let the other one sit a while and check later. You can do a lot worse though, worth a try.

"Nice Box Pressed Smoke"
Torano has come up with a very good cigar here. This is not a morning smoke but rather a late evening or end of the workday cigar. The cigar has a beautiful appearance and an even burn with bright white ash. The taste is pretty much consistent throughout with a nice spice and wood full flavor. Well worth keeping a few in the humidor.

"Best buy!!"
Made the right move when I bought a box of these babies. They say they are maduro, must be a natural maduro. Whatever they are kudos to Torano for this luscious full bodied smoke. The wood, coffee and a hint of chocolate are there, but the straight forward tobacco taste and aroma are what makes this cigar a winner at the Ashman Cigar Awards.

A looker. The wrapper is dark, reddish & has a black grain. Box pressed. Construction is just top flight. On the full bodied side, yet very smooth. A very light spice tone, hints of sweetness & complexities dance in the sinus. The finish is straightforward tobacco. Develops nicely.

This cigar is a mustr have for any humidor. The first time I lit one of these up I knew I had to have a box. Great burn, great flavor, great ash, great cigar, period. "Damn! You got to smoke this!!"
Box-pressed with a silky, smooth colorado Hond. wapper. Burn was consistent with great ashes, too. Flavor was mellow, complex, rounded with a light hint of sweetness. It's a great cigar in all aspect. From presentation down the last finger burning puff! GREAT! Awesome! That's all I can say about this baby. Plus nice wooden boxes, beautiful band. Even with a meaningful name of the line, Exodus 1959, an escape from Cuba. Anyway, one last thing I want to point out, GREAT PRICE. five bucks for a duoble corona. Still looking at my review? Stop staring at the boring screen, run to ur tobacconist and grab of these babies!
