"Holy Guacamole"
The Torano Signature Line is outstanding. Where the torpedo fits in the ranking I'm not sure, but it was a very fine stick. The burn was not perfect, but it did not need touched-up more than once so who cares? It may not be that attractive, but it does have a great mellow taste of dark chocholate, nuts and some spice, so who's upset if it's not perfectly made. An excellent cigar at a very good price, isn't that what we're here for?

"It is what it is."
I can't add much to the manufacturer's description or the last review by double "B" it's a refined, flavorful morning smoke for a seasoned smoker. Mild to medium bodied with rich flavor. If you find them at the rightiprice go for it.

"Morning Smoke"
OK, I had some burn problems the first inch and it quickly corrected itself. Medium bodied at most, but nice with my morning coffee.

"Great Cigar"
Best non-cuban cigar I've smoked so far. If I had a Monte#2(cuba) and this cigar in a box I hesitate before choosing as both of them are really great smokes.

Starts off very smooth and ends with a blast of spicy, earthy, and mellow flavors. I planning on getting a box now.

"Off."
A slightly tight draw kept the smoke to a minimum at first. When she finally opened up, after a massaging and a poke, she smoked hot, with a slightly uneven burn. The flavor had a lingering spicy-peppery harshness to it that I did not enjoy. This had been in my box for at least 5 months. I am experiencing consistency issues with these. Tread cautiously. $3.50 for PP$.

"A well made torpedo"
This stick wa rich in color and had lots of oil on the wrapper. The cap cut even and the pre lit draw gave way to some toasty taste. The foot lit even and burned with a salt and pepper ash that was solid. The taste was medium to full with lots of deep notes of toast and coffee with just the hint of a spicy cocoa bean. A must try stick.

"Nice Flavor"
The CT Signature series is one of the few North American cigars to use the Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper leaf. It is very common in Europe, but has yet to take off in the US. Other cigars that have this wrapper are the CAO Brazilia series and the Tabantillas Maduro.
It is a bit milder than the CAO brazilia, but no less tasty if you like this wrapper.

"Aging helped smokability"
A gorgeous, smokable, mild to medium stick. Aging helped the construction problems prevelent in my last review but did little to encourage any additional flavors from developing. Pleasant, woodsy, tobaccoey smooth flavor. A bit mundane but it is a nice mundane. A fine value at the $3.50 a throw I paid. At $6 I'd pass.

"A good smoke."
Very attractive medium bodied flavorful smoke from the folks at C.T. (I still like the 1959 Exodus (gold not silver) best) Reminded me of the Padron 1000 series or the 5 Vegas 05 Limitada in taste and character. At $6 a throw a lousy value. I nicked a 5 pak on cbid and paid (and will enter) about $3.50/stick. You should too. My only drawback was a slightly uneven burn and a tight draw which made this stick smoke on the "hot" side. Not bad. But there are other comparable sticks at better prices. (El Rey Del Mundo, Padron 1000 series, La Aroma De Cuba all come to mind)

"Rich and Smooth"
The wrapper is beautiful and oily. The burn can be uneven at times, but no correction is needed b/c with time it eventually fixes itself. Pleasant smoke with consistent draw depending on the cut. Typical Torano, pleasure to smoke.

"Huuummmmm!"
Purchased several of these have now ordered a box. They are worthy of being called signature cigars. Beautiful to behold. Firm bunch, smooth effortless draw, billows of spicy peppery smoke. Not a strong or overpowering cigar, but smoke after eating and with a beverage of your choice perferably coffee or a light malt beverage. It has a very slight citric tinge midway through it otherwise it starts off a little bitter tobaccoie flavored and stays that way, never getting too harsh. One of my new favorites and the price is right.

"Just a little tight..."
The toro in the line is outstanding. I had a slight draw problem (packed too densely) in this topedo. Now I say a "slight" problem-otherwise another excellent smoke from Toraño.

"Value, value, value and a nice smoke too..."
I tend to like the torpedo revival. I enjoy the shape and unique feel. This was a great value for the $. Lit well, nice easy draw, great robust flavor. On the medium / full bodied end of the spectrum but never harsh. I will buy many more of these enjoyable little stick.

"Complex and inconsistent"
For such a beautiful but dark and rich cigar the taste was as much a surprise as the construction...overall well made with a tightness to the draw mid-stick. The flavor waxed and waned between cocoa and coffee but were muted with an earthy undertone. The aroma is rich and pleasant with plenty of smoke. I have noticed that the cigar's inconsistencies have more to do with the humidor they're stored in prior to purchase. I have found the best cigars from every brand to be purchased from tobaccanists and other retailers with very well constructed and maintained humidors. The few unpleasant Torano cigars I've had have all come from humidors I later found to be poorly managed, if at all. Find a good tobaccanist and try this cigar again.

"Uneventful flavor"
The construction and draw of this cigar was flawless. however the flavor was not to my liking.......everyone likes different tastes thus the reason for 108 Baskin robbins flavors. It was dry and harsh. The draw was one of the best ever....absolutly effortless.

"try again carlos"
Not what I expected, complete let down. I really like the Exodus and Silver series but this Signature was bland, with a tight draw. The wrapper even started to come off about a third of the way in, wouldn't stay lit either. Maybe I got a dud, but I can't say I'll go running back to the store for another one of these.

"Gotta go get me some"
I had a couple of these in the humidor and had read the 2 other reviews before I smoked em. Today I smoked the first. I must completely disagree with the other reviews. This smoke was absolutely delicious. The results of the cedar wrap came through in the taste for the first 1/2 then the spice takes over. It burned flawlessly for 3/4 of the smoke. Cool and even all the way to the last inch. I am on the hunt for more. It wasn't as full bodied as other Toranos to me but a great smoke.

"So So "Sigar""
"Once Found, Alway Treasured," is the slogan of Carlos Torano Cigars. This cigar didn't live up to the slogan. Granted it wasn't a bad stick, but I think I won't just yet "treasure" this stogie. The taste was a little too harsh for me. Woody and cedery also. Sometimes I got the impression that I was smoking ceder ashes. But to be fair, I'll try another one again.
