"Just a novelty"
Although I did find the shape and feel of this cigar interesting, I cannot say that it was enough to convince me that it was a ten dollar stick. The flavors were a bit harsh for my liking, but I can see how some people would really enjoy this cigar after a big meal or with a dark beer...or several dark beers as this cigar will last a relaxed smoker at least 90 minutes.

Overall, a nice smoke, but just a "try once and move on" smoke.

"Long, tasty and satisfying"
Very inetersting stick. Looks like a candy bar, flat on one side, rounded on the other. Being flat makes to 60 gauge not only manageable, but quite convenient. Prelit aroma typical for maduro, rather mellow, with hints of coffee. Prelit draw excellent. Prelit tobacco tastes quite sweet with moderate hints of nicotine. Cutting is complicated by non-standard gauge, I had to use a disposable razor blade.
Flavor is complex, full of nice surprises. Overall there are nutty undertones evolving toward coffee/black chocolate after midpoint, with various peppery, spicy, herbal and even floral overtones. I would swear at some point I got flavors of Thai basil. There is a certain quality that reminds me of Padron 1926 series. If you like El Jocko Maduro, this stick will delight you, since overall there are similarites, with Prensando being more complex, refined and smooth. Taste starts mild, sweet and pleasant, evolving toward a rounder, quite full experience in last third, but always smooth, to the nub. Last third packs solid and unexpected nicotine punch, so be warned. Draw is excellent, through and through, cigars burns cool without tendency to go off. Tolerates both slow and fast smoking. Moderate amounts of smoke. This stick lasts for 2.5 - 3 hours, quite impressive.

There are three drawbacks of this cigar: 1.availability 2.price 3. ash, although firm, has a tendency to flake, similarly to other LFD products, messing things around. Small flakes tend to fly, staining your clothes, getting into a keybord etc.
