Mild smoke with nice flavor, great aroma, and what a shape.

This is a nice, mild cigar. Nothing to offend here. A little loose on the roll, which caused an easy draw but burned fine. Great for a quickie.

Another highly overrated (by CA) cigar. Extremely poor draw and not much flavor except sour acridity!!!

One of my favorite non ISOM cigars. Burns a long time for such a small cigars! The biggest problem with these for me is leting them age more then 2 or 4 days.

This is a great after lunch cigar. The maduro is much better than the natural IMHO.

"A decent quickie"
This is one that I smoke when time is a factor. The $5.50 pricetag on this one is pretty steep considering how long it lasts, but it is an enjoyable cigar, nonetheless. Appearance is nice and the pre-light aroma is faint. It starts off with a bit of a wallop and stays that way for the first half-inch or so; a very earthy flavor. After that, it settles down and beomes more smooth, with a hint of vanilla and a very buttery taste to it. The last 1/2 of this cigar is fantastic, you just have to make through the intro. Because of the price, I can't say that this is the best value around, but it is an enjoyable smoke. Construction wa little off, as the draw was tight, and about 3/4 of the way in it developed a nasty spoon. Fortunately, it self-corrected without any need for spotwelding. I find that these are more enjoyable than the maduro variety.

"Good ... But Value Hmmm"
This El Jocko #2 is a very tasty, great looking cigar. Rolled with a big bulb at the lighting end, tapers off to a rounded little point where you cut it. Well constructed, slight uneven burn, really not a problem (probably due to the unusual shape,) and nice draw. A golden wrapper with some noticeable veins. Mild to medium, very smooth. Bread and nut traits. Only problem is, it costs $4 -$5 for a small cigar. A Romeo and Juliet Vintage double corona is very similar, offering about twice as much cigar, for around the same price. I assume one is paying a premium for the shape here, a cool looking and difficult to roll figurado. If you collect, as well as smoke cigars, this will look really cool in your humidor.

"decent"
This is a nicely constructed perfecto with a nice conn shade wrapper. Taste is medium bodied, definitely stronger than the premium line, sort of has a woody/toasty taste to it, turns a little floral. Very dominican tasting. Reminded me of the CAO criollo a bit. Really not much to say here--it's a solid smoke, but not one you'd go nuts over. Probably a bit overpriced for this size. Not sure if I'll try this one again, but I'm trying all of the LFD lines to compare them and will post my reviews.

"A miracle of construction"
Goregeous cigar with a delicate shimmery almost transluscent wrapper. It held the ash almost to the very end. Sweet and toasty nice pre-work start to my day, but overpriced for what it is.

"Mild Dominican"
After the ligero and other series made bt LFD I found this one a let down. Oh, the burn was outstanding and it looked beautiful. Its just that the graddy Dominican flavors predominated this one, unlike the other LFDs I have had. There are much better LFDs out there.

"Tasty"
Sweet, nutty, coffee, hearty, mild to medium. "Tasty" is the best word describe this cigar. Plenty of smoke. Better than AF Short Story.
