"Fathers Day enjoyment"
A friend and I ate a large Fathers Day meal and kicked back with a couple of these as the evening came to a close. Very nice pre-light aroma with a beautiful dark wrapper. Burned a little uneven at times and needed a touch-up or two to keep it going. The ash was solid and there were huge amounts of smoke from this stick. A sharp medium to full taste that was satisfying after that heavy meal. Not for the faint of palate. Cedar, leather, and hints of cocoa with a peppery finish. The complexity of flavor was a nice surprise from a relatively inexpensive smoke. I'll be looking to get more of these for my humidor.

"Rich Smoke for the Not-So-Rich"
Got this as a single at the local B&M, hence an inflated price, but still a good smoke for the money. Built very solid, burned fairly well, with a firm and white, white ash. Rich cedar and leather flavors, with a peppery finish during the last third. Full review here:

"Great, Cheap cigar"
This is now going to be a usual for me b/c it is cheap and very flavorful and complex. It is a bit strong, but still smooth and not harsh at any point. The construction is superb, but the burn is a little uneven at points. Overall, this is one to try.

"Smokes Like the Torpedo"
I was impressed. This smoked like the torpedo with tons of thick juicy smoke and a 21/2 inch ash. Full of flavor; however, I missed the touch of sweetness you get from the torpedo.

"Spicy?"
I didn't find this cigar to be very spicy. Pre-light aroma was decent, draw, burn, and construction were all fantastic. At first this stick had a sour taste to it. Maybe it hadn't aged long enough. Once it started warming up, it got better, but I have to say I'm not very impressed. I'll stick with the LGC naturals and Serie R maduros.

"Hmmmmm."
I love this cigar for its everyday appeal. The burn was slightly off center, but the flavor was medium tlo heavy and complex. Smoke it slow for a while, and keep it in the humidor for at least a month after purchasing. A great dessert.

"Good Cigar"
Strong peppery flavor. Never dissappointing.

"So Good It Brings Tears To Castro's Eyes"
A great cigar rolled in the style of the old Cubans, firm to the touch, full bodied, spicy and loaded with flavors

"LGC's rock!"
I must say I love LGC maduros. I think part of it's the ecuador wrapper. The serie R maduros are also great. There is something about the flavor that I just can't find in other smokes!

"ho hum"
Good appearance. Spicy start. Ok burn. Not the smoothest or most tasty. The LGC Natural is better IMO. Rough towards the last 2".

"Not what I was hoping for"
Peppery flavor was nice, but there was little else to taste here. Overall it was a refined smoke, but lacked great depth of flavor, making this just a so-so stick.

"Was kind of disappointed."
A tad too harsh for my tastes. Left me with an unpleasant woody aftertaste. The faint chocolaty finish wasn't as bad as the start. The construction left something to be desired

"Black is beautiful!"
I've never had a bad one. These stogies have good, consistant draw, rich flavor, and medium strength. Admittedly the unlit cigar smells a little like old socks, but don't be fooled: this is a high quality stick.

Bought this at a shop in Montana that was going to discontinue carrying them because amazingly LGC's weren't selling. It had been sitting in their humidor for the past two years. WOW, what a smoke. Strong but no harshness and loaded with flavor. Great
