"Wonderful Maduro"
I paid just a little more for the maduro and I loved it. Great coffe like flavor. It was a little veiny, but dark and oily. A wonderful medium bodied smoke.

"Like the Corona Gorda But Larger"
Excellent construction w/free flowing w/lots of thick white smoke. Great medium body smoke w/nuts and cream. I will smoke the maduro version tomorrow night.

"Medium Black Beauty"
Delicious maduro with straight forward medium bodied flavor. Light chocolate flavor mixes with black tobacco flavor for a nice smoke. Had this aging for about a year, the cello has just started turning yellow. Made in Miami, I can't distinquish a difference now between DR and Miami smokes. I sure miss the old Miami cigars. Raw and bold!

"great smoke"
i really enjoyed this very large cigar. it lasted about an hour and a half. the wrapper was beautiful and oily. the draw and burn were excellent. the taste was full flavored, and it produced large volumes of smoke. highly recommended.

"Excellent"
One of the best cigars - in this size category- that i've ever smoked. Beautiful snow-white ash, awesome burn (considering this cigar's size), and smooth medium to full-bodied smoke all the way through. Truly loved it!

"ENJOYED !"
LGC cigars are in my top 3 choices for cigars. I prefer the maduros, but the natural wrapper is good too. This cigar lasted a good hour plus. It was woody, toasty with nice aroma. A medium smooth smoke. A good draw for such a long stick. If you like this cigar, I recommend trying the serie R.

"Once upon a time"
This used to be a fabulous cigar when made in the mid-90's in Miami. The taste is now woody and aroma very heavy from the Sumatran wrapper. Lacks the spicy punch it once had.

"Another winner"
Smooth tasting ,even burn and a hint of nuts and coffee.I agree with some of the other postings that a little aging seems to make LGC's go from a good to a great cigar. The flavors blend real well with time.

This is a great cigar to enjoy on a warm, summer evening. It lasts up to 2 hours. Medium to full body. Nice texture in mouth and a long finish. Great flavor and aroma.

Bad burning caused by substandard construction really hurt this one for me. Flavor and looks were great.

Great flavors and finish. Very slight inconsistency in the burn from cigar to cigar within the same box.

After this big baby ages for two years it's packed w/ spiciness and is very full bodied. Great after meals that are spicy and is especially capped off w/ a single malt scotch.

The La Gloria Cubana Soberano is
an excellent smoke. It needs
approx. 2 months in a humidor to
reach its full potential. But,
when lit it draws very evenly. It
has a very rich flavor that is
reminiscent of coffee bean, and an
earthy flavor. Truely on

This 8 X 52 beauty was one of the smoothest, medium-bodied cigars I've ever tasted. It was flavor-packed and never harsh . . . well, unless you count burning my fingers when I tried to smoke it down too far!

7/17/99 I purchased my first box two days ago. The flavors of spice and coffee are delightful. Expected this cigar to be stronger than it actually was. It was very smooth and is
terrific all the way thru 2 hour cigar.
