"Macanudo Robust Petit Cor"
Good small cigar. Burned well, light ash, had coffee and cocoa tastes and aftertastes. This is about the best 1 dollar cigar I've had!

"A Pleasant Experience"
I've established a bit of a fondness for the Macanudo Maduros, but for the first time in some time I broke away from that when a friend approached me with one of these little treats. He had one for himself as well and we smoked 'em up. I was surprised to find that after the first few draws it was just as robust as it's name implied. It was well contructed and maintained a fairly even been burn all the way down until I disposed of it's remnants. I'm not sure what he payed for it, but it couldn't have been very much and if so it was definately a good value.

"Down from the Mountain"
Nothing wrong with this little guy. I lit him up and sipped on a Rain Water and put up Christmas lights around the yard. Tis the Season my friends. Burn was great, construction top notch; however it got a little hot at the end. I did go deep with it though. Tasted like a good sweet sweet tobacco stogie should. Nothing spectacular. Nothing horrifying. I see no one else has reviewed this one in a few years. I got it in a steamy little smoke shop in Jackson for under $3. I wonder if this one was sitting in there for a while. (Side: I think the proprietor was getting ready to toss me out. I stood in there and fondled nearly every cigar he had. Some dudes have all the luck.)

"Simply a more robusr Mac"
This is good advertising. This brings the quality leaf and construction of a Mac, but adds enough body to make this an interesting smoke.

I used to enjoy the Cafe line from Mac, but recently have found them to be lacking in flavour. I have laid off the Dominican cigars for a while, but wanted to try this. I wa pleasantly surprised.

The cigar starts off with notes of chocolate and has a fantastic construction. The ash had to be knocked off and was not flaky in the least. It was a little tight drawing to begin with, but loosened up.

I had to set this down for about 20 minutes. When I came back, it just needed a couple of puffs to get going again. No harshness, it was just as nice as ever.

This does tend to lose some of itsqualities in the last quarter. The ash is slightly flaky and the taste is a bit more harsh.

Overall, a nice short smoke that has some of the qualities of a fuller-bodied Nicaraguan cigar (mainly from the Mexican leaf). If you have gotten tired of the Cafe line, I recommend this one.

"Best Macanudo has to offer"
This is what I expected from Macanudo's other lines. It was medium to full bodied and a pleasure to smoke. The thin ring size was a mistake on my part. I would probably like this cigar a lot more in a larger ring size. Overall it smoked fairly long and was quite even start to finish. I would definatly buy from this line again.

"Powder Puff"
A very mild small cigar which is good for early morning smokes. You have accompany this smoke with a beverage to enhance the flavors because it is very mild. Good draw but kinda got a little hot near the end. A good cigar for the novice, or when a quick mild smoke is ask for.
