What a sleeper! went looking for a less expensive alternative to
one of my favorites, Partegas # 10.
The After dinner maduros, hit the spot
for less than half the cash.

"A great smoke"
I'm fairly new to this hobby, but I can tell you this: this After Dinner is a smooth smoke. The taste was definitely on the mild side, but delicious. It went very well with a glass of wine out on the porch. Had to relight once, and it still tasted great right after.

"Pleasant surprise"
After reading reviews on the taste of the Punch (I do not prefer that flavor) I had my doubts on enjoying it. After lighting it I was surprised. The flavor was bold but toasty, and the smoke was great. Along with a nice even burn and cool finish, the Punch delivered.

"Great Value"
I wasn't all that impressed with this cigar after smoking one straight from the box. I let them sit for about 3 months in one of my humidors and had more or less written them off. Then, I smoked one after aging. What a turn around! The flavor had improved 100%. Very light spice and a sweet, nutty flavor. I have nubbed every one, since. Perfect burn and draw. Very well constructed. I had not been a fan of very many Hondurans until this one. I now keep one box in a humidor and a second in long term storage.

"A smooth tasty cigar."
Nice looking cigar. Tight draw throughout with average cap removal. Ash came off too easily at 1" catching me unaware twic. Nice flavor but nothing quite distinctive for me, a novice. A little pepper toward the middle. Left 3 1/2" behind after need for third relight and increasing harshness. I will try another as I found I tasty and think the tight draw was just this cigar.

"Good cigar"
Good cigar. Good price for a pretty smooth smoke. I aged it for 3 years so i burned nicer then it probably would of before. Still i was satisfied with the whole cigar finish to end.

"same as before"
tried another of these after dinner last night. just like the first one I tried. Very consistent. Good even burn. Good draw. Light spice and very enjoyable all the way through. Similar to some Fuente products in that the taste is good all the way but does not change that much. Still a good smoke.

"very nice"
I lit this cigar up after coming home from a few beers at my brothers house. Slightly sweet and mild. Burn and ash were excellent just like the other Punch cigars I've tried. This cigar didn't change much for me throughout the smoke. Not complex but very consistent. Very good cigar for the money.

"Nice cigar"
Good quality cigar, nothing super special but just good straightforward tobacco flavor, lots of smoke and a nice even burn. Good for hanging out on the patio with friends, even casual smokers will enjoy this one.

"Very good"
I enjoyed this on the 4th. Very good cigar. I will say try one. If you are not into such a monstrosity of a cigar try any of the smaller size. They are all vert tasty. This one I had and the few smaller ones I had all had good burn, draw and the flavor was very good a medium body smoke with a try. If I had a bigger humi it would be one of my regulars.

"tasty dessert"
I smoked this cigar during a fourth of july party and people who didn't like cigars were telling me how good it smelled. Kind of sweet, but didn't taste of chemicals like other flavored cigars. Aptly titled, enjoy one for dessert. Not complex with a changing flavor, just a pleasant, smooth and consistent smoke. High marks for flavor because it acheives what it's aiming for.

"Sand Man...."
...Ultimate Sleeper. I'll let everyone on a nice secret. Get the "English Market Selection" After Dinners. I have tried both the maduro and the oscuro color wrappers (still great cigars) , but the EMS will make you skip dessert. JR is the only place I have found that makes the distinction between the three when ordering. They are clearly labeled on the box as well. I always assumed there were only two options for the darker wrapper. I have smoked the Maduros for nine years now, and there is a notable difference. (Glad I made that mistake when ordering) Let's start with price-$60.00/box on average! Great construction, excellent burn and amazing ash. (Mine sit on average for 6 months because I have boxes in rotation) Cocoa tones throughout with a mild/medium bodied flavor. The draw is smooth, the finish is long with hints of spice that fade to a cream like flavor that hards to describe. This is a $2.40 experience worth having. Back in the day this was great to smoke after a few coldies and right before the "magic hour" at the clubs. Now, it compliments my "after dinner" drinks nicely.
