"White Bread"
I tried one of these a while back and was not impressed, but so many people love this blend that I had to give it another shot. My opinion hasn't changed much: It looks nice and has an attractive aroma, but that's about it. There's nothing objectionable about this cigar, but there's nothing distinctive either. Mild to medium, with a mostly even burn and a good draw. Might be a good for a beginner, but if this isn't your first rodeo you'll find there's not much to grab you by the horns here.

"Well made, but not my taste"
This well put together smoke burned very good and smoked well enough, but I just didn't care for it. I had tastes of soil and damp wood. It was a little peppery on the finish. Quality, to be sure, just not my thing.

"Milder Punch - A Glancing Blow"
The 'Punch' name had me a little intimidated before I tried this gem. I'm more of a medium bodied cigar guy. Lucky enough to smoke this while tailgating at an NFL game. Easy draw and razor sharp burn. The toasty hints of chocolate, coffee, and pepper never let me down after the large pre-game meal. I sat back and truly enjoyed this stick while others around kept asking what it was. The large amount of smoke must have intoxicated them. I had never smoked a square-pressed cigar this rigidly shaped. It took a little getting use to, however it didn't detract from the experience. This mild to medium bodied stick was a real surprise and definitely changed my perception of what a milder cigar should be.

"Good Value"
Picked up a punch rare corojo hear good things. I chopped of the cap and went to work... this cigar was peppery and chocolaty with hints of coffee, it actually reminded me of a Rocky patel or a padron, maybe not quit as complex, but this cigar was constructed very well, it stayed smooth and burnt even the whole way through. A pretty good cigar for the price.

"Mostly good..."
Great looking cigar. I enjoyed the pre-light experience. This cigar lit easily and burned perfectly. Very nice leathery, smooth flavor. Began to get harsh about 2/3 way in. I'll be buying more of these

"Bland"
I know that taste is a very personal thing, and everyone has their own opinions.
In my opinion this was a bland smoke. I have actually had Macs that had more character.
I liked the box press, construction and pre light experience, but once this was lit - i became disappointed.
It was bland throughout - I smoked it to the end - hoping for the change, but nothing.
In the Punch line I like the Champions much better.

Bought a box this week after sampling one last week, boy I was hooked. Got into the box already. Yeah I know "let them rest" but who can wait? Love the spicy taste. Was a good smoke right out of the box. Now their resting but I'm aready thinking about ordering another 25. Good value and a great smoke.

"Just Plain Good... Spicy and Well Made"
This is one strong cigar IMO! The combination earthy spiciness is very unique in the rara corojos. I would actually recommend mellowing these out in the humi (I plan for a year!). The burn and constuction is consistent and the flavor uniquely Punch.

"Very nice"
Med bodied. Had aromatic spiciness, not peppery. Reminescent of an excellent tea, or a delicate coffee, not in flavor exactly, but that is how the flavor came through. Not sure that makes a lick of sense. I usually tend towards the full pepper bombs, but I will buy a bunch of these. Burned well, silky wrapper. Also, my wife enjoyed the smell of these! That's worth something too! 🙂

"Mighty flavor medium cigar"
nice mouthful of actual flavor you can describe as nuts, black cherry and hint of coffee ... slight. was a tad tight right out of the box without time to breathe. usually a nice draw, white/gray ash that partitioned well. All around nice medium bodied smoke. Satisfying.

"Don't know about this one"
This is a very nice looking cigar, with an unusal, square box press. The pre-light draw promises a very spicy and srtong tocacco flavor that the first half of the cigar just doesn't deliver. There is a slight spiciness that gets stronger through the smoke, but the tobacco taste is muted, actually this is a very mild smoke, with a nice, cedary nose. Nice ash, easy draw, very mellow. Be patient, the taste finally gets there around the halfway mark. The last half has a strong taste of leather and a mild cedar taste creeps in. What this cigar does have is a very good buzz factor

"Best box pressed corojo"
The title says it all. Bought a box based upon the reviews here. Liked em soo much thought hey the magnums are more of a good thing. Wrong! These are a different smoke than the magnum. The nutty flavor gets overpowered with the bigger ring size. Good value good taste.

"Great short Honduran smoke"
These cigars are beautifully rolled, nice box press, hefty, gorgeous wrapper, nice prelight smell. The draw was good, but just slightly on the tight side, but given this cigar's heft, that isn't surprising. Smoke was rich and medium body, sweet, earthy, smoked slowly.

"value"
Great everyday smoke. Looks great, but not as strong as it looks. Flavor was above average, but nothing to shout about. Factor in the price though and it makes it taste a little better.

"good cigar"
Beautiful box pressed cigar, with a reddish brown, oily rapper. Started out a little harsh, but soon mellowed out and became a very good smoke. Produced a ton of smoke. Medium bodied with a spicy flavor

A very wonderful looking cigar, with a medium bodied flavor. Burn was very nice, draw was so-so, but it was not bad enough to make a fuss about.

"Good Smoke"
I purchased these a couple of times and have found them to be a good solid smoke. They can be a bit spicy but nothing an experienced smoker couldn't handle.

"Excellent, leathery"
Very nice appearance and construction; the cigar was well box-pressed and the wrapper had a good deep redish color. Leathery prelit aroma, which developed after the cigar was lit. The burn was even and the draw started off a little tight but quickly corrected itself to a good level with lots of easy smoke. This is a medium-bodied cigar with very consistent flavor, with some notes of pepper and spice, and a definite dominance of leather (very good, without bitterness). The finish is not too long, but very smooth. Overall, a very good cigar with a powerful leather flavor.

"Good flavor and smoke"
Generally, I enjoy darker, heavier cigars, but this one generated tons of bluish smoke as noted by others, and had a balanced taste which later towards the end was strongly minty.

"Caramba Corojo!"
This was my first encounter with a Corojo, but I quarantee it won't be my last. I bought a box of these on a caprice and it was well worth the money. The wrapper was primo and so was the construction of this cigar. This bad boy generated lots of bluish smoke which had a nice aroma. I found the flavor positively complex and enjoyable. Hints of cocoa, white chocolate and a pinch of coffee floated on my palate. I'm going to be really greedy with this box! Well worth the price I paid!

"Great deal"
This is a cigar that I have purchaced over and over. I purchaced 3 boxes from the initial rerelease, in the spring of 2000 I belive. I found these smokes to have a rich nutty flavor that is not matched by any other corojo wrapper out there. This is the best Honduran Punch I have ever had. The draw consitantly even and smooth. Never hot. The nutty corojo flavor eventually gives way to a rich spicy flavor. This is a full boddied cigar that sneaks up on you.
At under $4, this is one of the best deals out there!

"Good Cigar, but no Corojo"
To the best of my knowledge, This cigar does not have a scrap of Corojo leaf in it, but it is still a great smoke. The flavor good, the construction first rate.
