This cigar is a very good buy for a casual or a new cigar enthusiast. It has a lot of cedar flavor and since this is true it is very one dimentional in this regard. Great to start with because flavors are very easy to pick out.

"Deluxe??"
This was a different tasting cigar than your average stick. Maybe "cedar" is the best way to describe the flavor. I really didn't care for it that much. Maybe it was a little green with onlly about a month in the humidor. The burn and draw were very good and the price was right. I was just expecting more from a R&J.

"Cedar-ry"
It's not called cedro deluxe for nothing. Cedar is definitely the predominant flavor, with some spice and an occasional nutty sweetness. I found it an enjoyable smoke. Pretty well made. Nice wrapper. Nice color. Started out burning a little uneven, but straighted out. Medium strength. Clean finish. Would smoke again at the right price.

"Definitely Cedary"
I had a few of these in my humidor, and lit one up recently as I wanted something different than my norm. It was definitely different, in the fact that the cedar flavor was a bit overpowering. It tasted like spanish cedar with a hint of spice, and a just barely discernable sweetness to it through most of the cigar. The burn was fine all the way down to the nub, and the last third had a strong tarry finish with a decent amount of black pepper. For this ring gauge it didn't get too hot. The construction and presentation was great. Overall it was not bad, just not great for my tastes either. I would recommend a purchase of these, especially if you enjoy a more woody flavor.

"1st Real Cigar / 1st Real Review"
As a former smoker, err maybe, I never got into cigar smoking until recently. A couple of buddies and I split a box and I will say I was hooked. The appearance is great out of the box, the construction sound, the burn great, and a mild flavor to not run me away. Haven't smoked many, but I'm sure this will alwasy be a favorite.

"Impressive"
The flavor profile in my cigar was a bit more complex than some other ratings have let on. A heavier cigar than I expected with a wonderful cedar aroma before and after lit. Good natural tobacco taste without the saccarine sweetness of milder cigars. A little expensive for me (since I'm a poor college student) but definately one of the better smokes I have enjoyed thus far.

I got myself a box off CI for $69, and let me tell you. On my next cigar purchase I will pick up another box or two of this cigar. It is great. Anytime I want to smoke something and I don't feel like being disappointed, I can count on the Cedro Deluxe. I'm always happy with this cigar.

"Good Everyday Cigar"
This is my everyday cigar. I like it because it burns well, doesn't take a lot of maintenance... plus the construction is always superb (I clip the cap, so perhaps if you're poking it could be a problem)... the draw is smooth and clear, plenty of smoke. The construction is, to my opinion, fantastic as with all Romeos I've smoked. The start is confused and a bit dry, but mid-start you get some of that cedar, and then even a hint of Cohiba-like toastiness... and the rest is leather and a touch of citrus. Pretty good for under $3 (if you buy by the box)

"Autumn Smoke"
Nice fancy presentation with the cedar and all that. Lit up well and burned straight. Lots of smoke. Ash was acceptable. Cap was an absolute train wreck. I twisted my punch into it and the whole cap spun around on the end. I licked it all up and gave it some time to heal. I could smoke it, but what a mess. The flavor was pleasant, but nothing extraordinary. About all I could come up with was tobacco and cedar chest. I had the fine wife beside me puffing on a CAO Kamasutra, and a beer, and the sunshine, and the whole day ahead. Bonus experience points for all that.

"solid but no thrills"
This cigar had a good, smooth construction which contributed to a nice straight burn with lots of smoke. I was impressed with how cool the smoke was which is not always true with cigars of this ring. Towards the nub this thing went out a few times after which I didn’t relight it. That may have been an ambient humidity issue though so I’m not holding that against it. The flavor on the other hand was pretty one dimensional, although not bad. I don’t remember much of what the taste was because it wasn’t very interesting. Nevertheless, it is a solid smoke with no major problems and I’d recommend it to a beginner who’s getting started on the fuller bodied smokes.

had to let it go out right when i started it - could be why i wasn't impressed. Started out tough draw and very spicy. Too ashy (could had been my fault), mellowed a bit in the middle then got too hot. TBN wrappers look good but dont do anything for taste and i felt like this was missing something.

"Servicable"
It's pretty good actually. I just smoked one with almost no age on it. It was a little biting, but the cedar taste really came through. I'll be interested to see how the other four I bought age. Great burn and construction, even if the stick was a little soft. I'd recommend for an everyday smoke. Nothing to get overly excited about, but enough quality that you'll be looking forward to your next one.

"A good mild cigar"
A beautifully packaged and presented cigar, nicely crafted and pleasant to smoke. Flavors were generally mild, with notes of cedar, coffee and, not to get too absurd, but burnt pie crust. Not a particularly sweet smoke, in fact it got a little bitter toward the end. Overall, an o.k. experience
