"Excellent taste"
Very good cigar, excellent flavor smoke, etc. Ash held well. Draw was smooth and flavorful. It was not over-powering, like some maduro's, but smooth and flavorful. I will be buying a box for the humidor.

"Nothing To Rave About"
Pretty decent smoke here. Somewhat mild to medium in flavor. Shows a smooth medium brown, slightly oily wrapper. Mild woody, earthy and herbal pre-light aroma. Seemed a tad moist and tightly rolled (have had in humi at 67rh/67*F for approx. 3 months). Draw was moderately tight but still produced lots of smoke. Some slight trouble with uneven burning throughout. Flavors started off quite mild with notes of vanilla cream, oak and nuts. Taste profile became a little more assertive after the first half with more spicy and leathery notes coming through. Ash was strong and held well being gray-black and slightly flakey. Remained cool and smooth to the end. Not a memorable smoke but worth a try or sure.

"Balanced"
This smoke was very nice with lots of smoke and a smooth aroma. The foot lit well and burned even. The taste was medium to full and had notes of wood and earth with a spicy finish.

"Underfilled..some"
I smoked an R&J Robusto a few nights ago from a box given to me as a gift. The cigar was evidently underfilled resulting in a loose draw and uneven hot burning.I did find any of the other reviewers flavours or aromas or anything impressive about this cigar, but an averege unremarkable smoke. After checking some cigars from the box i found out that a few were indeed underfilled while others were very tight so i tried one of the tight ones the following night, this being better in terms of draw, ash and burn, a pleasant ,smooth smoke overall but not something to crave about.I only hope some time in my humi will improve them.

"Best non-Cuban R y J cigar!"
I have had all the Romeo y Julieta cigars, and this one is the best non-Cuban one out there. Every one I've had has had a perfect draw and burn and a nice long ash. These cigars tend to be rolled a little tight, but they still have a great draw and produce a lot of smoke for me. The cigar has a smooth flavor with earthy and spice tones. The smoke smells great. A great med-full bodied smoke and a reasonable price.

"needs time"
I have tried the other sizes and the robusto is similar. Easy draw, dark gray coarse ash. Very nice aroma. Body is medium, strength mild to medium. Nice sweetness throughout with occasional pepper popping in. All this pleasantness only last half way though as bitterness picks up after a couple of inches. I predict scores will rise considerably as these are laid down for a while. Price is reasonable. Needed 2 touchups and 1 relight.
