"Better Towards the End"
Have to agree with density's review in that the start was pretty bitter. I adore the shape and construction of this stick though - looks regal and perfect in your hand. Some spicy and papery notes toward the middle, but nothing amazing. In terms of flavor, the Macanudo Portofino is far superior with a similar length and ring gague. Try that instead if you thought this was good.

"Good for a beginner"
I just tried one of these while I was in Vegas a few days back. I loved it. It burned evenly, and It had very few flaws on the wrapper. I think it is a great cigar for beginners or those who like a smooth and light taste to their cigars. For the price I must say you can't go wrong with these cigars.

"Interestiing shape, but not as flavorful"
An outrageously long and slender cigar that comes packed in an aluminum tube, probably to protect this vulnerable shape. It draws and burns extremely well. After an initially bitter start, it shows flavors of dry wood and light spice that aren't bad but lack complexity. The last few inches are a bit harsh and hot. I guess this is all due to the small ring gauge. The shape of this cigar is unusual and a bit of gimmick; however, the other sizes in this line are more flavorful.
