"Got the time and the inclination"
This one has been buried under the pile in my humidor for five months, and I picked it for no other reason than a quick gauge of the time I had to smoke and the estimated time it would take to smolder through a robusto. My estimation and choice was spot on. This is a good medium flavored stick, with leather most prominent. Smoke scent was very nice. The wrapper was impeccable and looked like slow-pulled caramel. The burn was a bit left of straight but nothing horrifying. Recommended.

"A nice classic cigar"
A big fan of the RyJ line... especially the Cubans. This cigar came in a sampler pack, but I have had them off and on in the past. The cigar had a great looking light brown wrapper and the construction was superb. Draw and burn was perfect and I was able to get a nice 2+ inch ash on it. Flavors of cedar and leather, with some spice. A mild cigar with a consistant flavor and construction.

"afternooner (with reservations)"
Initial appearance impeccable, butterscotch color only one vein visible. Draw was initially tight but after about an inch became fine. Burn was very uneven throughout, enough to lessen the experience as it never improved. Wrapper has great flavor and the blend gives a mild pleasant experience without much bite until the final third when it becomes more pronounced. this cigar is not exactly complex, but enough to keep your interest. If this cigar had burned well, it would be recommended for an afternoon, but from my sample of one, i expected more.

"Not much flavor"
I think I may have grown out my Romeo y Julieta phase. For a while I really enjoyed these sticks, but this one just was not enough. Perhaps it was because I smoked it after a Punch. Its probably fitting I smoked it while eating gram crackers(which actually made a pretty good combination) because this a baby cigar. I have a maduro version; I think it will be better.

As I was hoping, this cigar has improved its burn with a little humidor time. Combine that with my previous review and ya have a winner 🙂

"Surprised"
beautiful construction upon inspection, the wrapper is plain gorgeous.

The burn was a bit uneven with an attempt to canoe, but the taste was a complex spicy medium to mild fiesta. Towards the end it became slightly bitter, but I didn't take my time smoking it.

Very worth a try

"Nice smoke"
Wrapper was beautiful. Could hardly see a vein. Buttery to the lips. Draw was perfect. Light spice and wood all the way through. Cigar felt very hard when I pulled it from the humidor. Thought I would have draw problem. I was wrong. perfect draw and burn. Bought 4 of these from a offer on the back of a magazine for $8.00. It came through JR's. You could not beat them at this price. Highly recommend...

"Good taste"
I enjoyed this cigar's woody flavor and mild/medium strength. The only issues I had were with a burn that became more and more uneven by the end. Other than that, it was a solid cigar that one should not shy away from at any experience level.

"Delightfully Toasty"
Another one from the JR robusto sampler. A fantastic toasty and light spiced smoke. Maybe just a tad on the pricey side at almost $5 each if you bought them by the box, but I couldn't go wrong with the sampler deal at 3 bucks. This was an all around great cigar, smooth and just a very nice flavor.

"Nice morning cigar"
Very nice looking cigar. Mild to medium taste, I find it is really enjoyable cigar with the morning coffee on the deck!! I have not noticed the bitterness/harshness some are mentioning. This cigar seems to stay pretty consistent all the way through, especially with a little nap time in the humidor.

"nice smoke"
Very nice looking wrapper, wellconstructed, even burn, easy draw good flavor. The last few of my box have been great, a little time is all they needed. Started out very spicy, then turned to a smooth creamy flavor, the last half turns back to spicy. Almost always nub these, enjoy them very much no matter what time of day.

"Ok, but not to my taste"
This is a nice looking cigar. The smoke from this stick rests somewhere between a medium and full bodied description. The first half of the cigar is fairly enjoyable, and an unusually dark ash clings for 2 inches easy. I don't get any of the creaminess from this cigar that I hear others describe, but I can see the cedar. Ultimately, I think the flavor is a bit plain, however. The second half can become bitter and harsh. I've only smoked two of these so far - I'll let the other 3 I have sit in the humidor for a few months.

"Nice all-around cigar"
With a creamy wrapper and good cap, this is a well-made and nice-looking cigar. It performs beautifully with a lush draw and a mostly even and consistent burn. It's toasty, with cedary, spicy, and creamy flavors that have a nice chewy texture. Some harshness creeps in during the final 1/3, but other than that it's a fine medium-bodied smoke.

A good smoke, draw was a bit tight. Has a full flavor and a medium body a bit too much for my taste buds. A strong buzz was had toward the end of the smoke. Not bad overall, good thing they were a gift.

"Rich"
A beautiful cigar, with a shiny chestnut brown CTS wrapper. The draw is a bit tight on some of these, but they still put out plenty of smoke. Haven't had a bad burn & the ash holds well. Mild to medium bodied. The 1st third is rich & tasty with some nice sweet highs in the nose, some floral aspects & an occasional flash of maple in the sinus. It flattens out a bit in the middle, but I detected the faintest hint of clove? The last third features the return of the sweet highs & a crescendo of the floral tones. The finish is lightly toasty & has a subtle but straightforward tobacco quality. I find this to be a superb changeup cigar in the rotation.

Draw was too tight or the quantity of smoke was too light on nearly every stick. I've had better luck with the Toro size. Nice and mild, but the bad burn has soured me on this brand.
