Saint Luis Rey (Hon) Lonsdale

This cigar sat in my tupperdor for the last 6 months. I finally got around to smoking it and wow was it good. The only thing against the cigar was the looks. It was very veiny and rustic looking. The taste and burn was unbeatable though.

Very full flavor and excellect aroma, but problems with draw on about every 3rd one.

Very smooth, nutty flavor, kept getting better and better.

This review is for the '96 version. Construction OK with one big vein and , draw and burn were fine. Ash didn't hang around, quite flaky. Taste was good, especially when I look at the price of around $1.50 closeout for a box. Mild-medium, leather, woody taste with some expresso in the second half.
