"Pepper Bomb"
I enjoyed the P2 and thought it was a real pepper bomb. This thing was spicy and went well with a tomato beer with hot sauce. The construction was flawless, the burn was even all the way down and the draw was tight but manageable. For $3.50 per stick you can't go wrong with this one. I will smoke these when I want something spicy. The spice mellowed after the midway point.

"Not bad"
A friend recommended Tatuaje cigars but they have been difficult to find. This was the first I found and it met my expectations. The smoke was full bodied with a short finish. Tastes of cedar and earthy tobacco.

"I liked it"
Bought a couple of these to try and smoked the first after only a few days in the humi. I had a better experience than the others here. This cigar had an even burn and firm ash. The draw was firm, improving after about a third of the way into the smoke. I really enjoyed the taste, rich tobacco with a bit of sweet earth? tones. Pretty short finish. This would be a great golf course smoke.

"Medium price, Medium quality"
About an inch in I was pleased with the light spice and woody flavor of this cigar, and then the wrapper splintered and blew up like a bad joke. I thought I could ignore it and smoke away, but I was mistaken. The wrapper is the best thing about this cigar. I might try another to see if this was just a bad one, but I'll probably spend a little more for a Havana VI instead.

"$3 for a sandwich smoke?"
It looks and tastes fine, but the draw was a little tight. LawDawg is generally correct. When you can get one of the Pepin-made, long-fill house blends for the same price, why get one of these? If you must have a Tat, go for the brown band. If you want Pepin on a budget, try the CI Yellow.

"Pay the extra $ for another Pepin blend"
I'm yet to smoke the majority of the Pepin-inspired range of cigars, but what I have tried I've really enjoyed. Thus, I thought I'd try out this cigar, which is among his most affordable offerings. Unfortunately, I did not find an value gem with this one. The flavor was harsh and undesirable from the get-go, and, at best, was less than memorable. The draw was exceedingly tight from the get go, so I used a paper clip to loosen it, but this only marginally helped. The burn was somewhat uneven, and it was a hastle just to keep the cigar lit. I don't know if this is attributable to the medium filler in this cigar, but I would suggest that anyone wanting to try a Pepin blend look to either the higher end smokes--like the Padilla Miami 8/11--the medium priced cigars--like the 601 series--or even the similarly priced Just For Retails. All are far superior to this cigar.
