"ok"
This one was ok the crouji 2006 was much better. I read the reviews on this one prior to buying and the reviews are and were correct. Don't waste the time or money buy the corojo 2006 it is a much better cigar!

"Very Nice Cigar"
I love this cigar. It has that usual Tatuaje spice. This has less strength than the other brown label Tat's. I love this cigar.

"Solid performance"
I tend to wait for the dust of hype to settle before I stray from my stand-by smokes. After the never ending praise for Tatuaje I grabbed two of these torps back in May 07 and they got lost until this past weekend. Since these are my only two samples I have no idea why these reviews are all over the board, but I had one Saturday afternoon with a good tea and Sunday evening with a JD single barrel and either way it was an enjoyable experience. Both samples were consistent with each other in terms of construction, burn and draw. Flavor and strength wise it is for sure med-full and while it never kicked my butt I always knew I had a cigar in my face. In contrast I have found Litto Gomez' latest offerings to have a noted amount more strength and complexity. Regardless there were some solid woody and spicy flavors, with hints of earth and leather and I was never bored. There is too much competition in the $10-$15 buck a stick range for me to add this to my rotation but tastes vary. I would recommend checking this out to see if it's your thing.

"Tatuaje's are great....but this one is o.k."
This is the third unico that I have smoked. The first one burned terrible and uneven and the draw terrible. The second one burned great and tasted great. The third one burned good until the near end. The wrapper started to bloom and crack. The draw was good until the near end. The flavor was typical Tatuaje but lacked something???.... Over-all I would go with a Noella, Noella Reserva, or Cojonu 2003. If you burn these at about 65% humidity they taste and burn great!!!....The Unico is o.k.

"great cigar well worth the money"
-appearance-nice dark even color .great looking cigar.-construction-i didn't notice any of the problems noted in previous reviews although i have a few suggestions.first, watch how you cut the cigar .the cap is not all the way even.you could cut to far on one side and be alright on the other. i like to cut torpedos in a diagonal fashon.that will help with the unravelling.second, take your time.if it burns hot lay it down for a bit.the cigar i smoked was near perfect.i only had to touch it up once from a slight uneven burn.the draw had a little issue about a third of the way where i wasnt getting hardly any smoke i tried to open it up by cutting it a little more but did not improve until a couple of minutes. small amount of time so it did not bother me because it got back to normal.-flavor-nice smooth cedar flavors at the start.very relaxing.about half way picked up to develop alot of peppery spiciness.i didnt want to put it out.-value-definetly worth every penny.i would pay more if i had to.-overall-great cigar near perfect construction and great complex flavors.

"Great Flavor, Poor Construction"
I've smoked 4 of these and 3 of them unravelled after 3 puffs. They sat in my humi for at least a month. The flavor was good throughout the smoke but I refuse to pay this much for something that falls apart on me. I am leary of any more Tatuajes

"Very nice"
Wow where to begin!! This is a very nice medium to full bodied smoke, rich woody flavor but also smooth. Reminds me of a cuban Bolivar Belicoso, but dare I say even better? I am a cuban fanatic but this rivals any cuban. Let mine sit in humidor for 2 months and perfect draw. Go buy one.

"1st half wonderful, last half burned my mouth"
This full-bodied smoke started off great with lots of flavor and the last half was disappointing. It hot boxed for the second half.

"Nice, but not great"
A very nice smoke, but it fell short of greatness. Perhaps I expected too much based on what I had heard about this nc comparing to ccs. Good construction, a bit of a firm draw, but nothing to fret over. Medium-bodied, at most. Nice ash, not as much smoke as I might have liked, but a very nice aroma.

"Milder then the Regios"
This torpedo is slightly milder then the Regios of this same line. Good leather and spice. Also, it has a little bit more of a raw sugar taste about half way through. Padilla/Pepin cigars are quickly becoming one of my favorite non-ISOM!!!

"Pleasant surprise"
Nice medium smoke, good burn, good flavors through the end. Gentler than some Nico's I though, certainly compared to Padron. Unlike others, I thought the construction was excellent.

"Enticing But Flat"
Pretty, oily, dark, strong, spicy and herbal. Aims to approximate traditional Habanos character and style, but misses for lack of complexity of the best Cuban cigars out there. I concur that this is a one-dimensional cigar that fails to open up. Constuction is only fair: the properly humidified (read: not overly humidified) stick I sampled plugged and required repeated relighting.

"Montecristo Who?"
This cigar reminds me of my old Monte's, the draw started firm for about a 1/4 inch but it opened and smoked like a jem. I just wish I could find more of these. If you like strong Cuban style cigars, you will love this one. Beautiful!
