I had high expectations. I was disappointed. Began harsh and bitter, then mellowed out only to get bitter at the end. Too loosely rolled: ash splattered during puffs. Not a bad cigar, but not a great one. I expected better from a Punch.

"Solid and Consistent"
This is probably the 6th or 7th I have smoked, and every one has been great. Beautful, oily, silky wrapper complements the smoke which is wonderfully aromatic and the taste profile is woody and cedary. I did not want to put this one down, but you can only smoke a stub so long before it burns your fingers! Great smoke I would recommend to anyone.

"What A Smoke!"
This was a very good smoke. It was medium to full bodied and very well constructed. The ash held strong for more than half of the cigar. The ash was powdery white and toothy. Complex overtones of floral and nutmeg were prevalent. Excellent after dinner smoke. Great way to relax.

"Slightly Tarnished Scepter"
This was not a majestic and regal smoke as its name would imply, but it was OK. I let it sit in its tin tube with its crown off in the top tray of my palace of cigars for almost the gestation time of a real prince. That’s nine months my friends. When I cut the head off this fellow it fell apart like a simple commoner and left me with a shredded end to suck on. It lit well, however, and burned fast for the first half inch when the ash fell off unexpectedly. Yes, I tasted the grass but it was subtle, like a recessive problem hidden under centuries of noble inbreeding. I found the flavor to be slightly north of bland, a unique pairing of fair grace and beauty with woebegone ears and a dodgy profile.

"ROYAL GRASS"
SMOKED ONE OF THESE AFTER 6 MONTHS IN THE HUMIDOR, TASTED LIKE WET SOUR GRASS, AND THE WRAPPER STARTED TO COME LOOSE AFTER SMOKING ABOUT A FOURTH OF THE CIGAR.

"pretty good"
Got a good buy on these, based on the avg.price. Like the tubo, cedar wrap and looks of the stick is good. Nice shape-feel. The pull seems tight and then get soft bottom 3rd - not good. Therefore not tons of smoke and yet, Flavor was consistant and nice, pleasant med-heavy, wanted more smoke to experience flavor. Left a nice taste in mouth during and after. OK for first punch. No Padron.

"Consistent Flavor"
I Bought 2 of these. The first was old and hard as a rock almost no draw what so ever, but I just blame that on the store because the second one was a drastic improvement. It had a nice draw good flavor and good construction.

"Cheap and Adequate"
If you want to give one of your boys a smoke that won't cost much and will provide them with a decent experience this is it. They are very consistent. I personoally like the maduro wrapper. It makes a great post-meal medium to full bodied smoke with a gorgeous draw and solid burn. Nothing extraodinary, but adequate.

"eh"
This cigar had a very cedary flavor (and that's about it). It was a decent smoke for the first three inches, then it got really really hot. I think that I may have enjoyed it a lot more had it not gotten nasty at the end. It was pretty nice, though.

"Mild"
Adequate draw. Ok start. Better on the finish. Not near the best of Punch.

"Put Me Down"
When you read the reveiws, people either like 'em or just about hate 'em. I'm a fan. Been through several boxes over the years and I like the change of taste. They're always well made. Guess you gotta decide for yer ownself on these.

"Don't waste the money"
Tasted like grass clippings wrapped in a paper sack. Stick with the Gran Puro line.

"Blah"
An overly tight roll and a fairly boring lack of flavor made this one not worth smoking. I tossed it after about 10 minutes and picked up a cheaper and far superior Padron 2000M.

"first"
This was actually the first cigar I ever had. For a first timer, this wasn't too bad. It was mild so I was able to enjoy it. I cannot tell you the exact flavours I detected because at the time, I didn't know how to discern them but I did note that there was a certain woodiness to this smoke, probably a cedar-like woodiness. It produced bellows of smoke and the ash held quite well (1.5-2inches). As I said, it was my first cigar so yeah

"Portable mediocrity"
I like the tubo for road trips, but the flavor fairy missed this stop.

"Yawn"
I expected better from Punch. The flavor was very mild, almost nonexistent. The construction, appearance and draw were good.

"so so"
Not the best punch I've had. It was rather odd tasting. Not a pleasent experiance, and I tosed it after about 5 mins.

"One's enough"
Smoked 2003-01. A bit of depth and spice with an O.K. bitter-sweet balance. Will pass on a second.
