Thick, rich smoke that lingers long after you puff. Slightly sour, acidic aftertaste at first that seemed to disappear after a little while. Earthy, slightly spicy taste. Satisfying but not exceptional.

"Deliciously Smooth and Complex"
A delicious, smooth and creamy mild-moderately flavored cigar. Shows a moderately veiny and rustic dark brown wrapper. Attractive pre-light aromas of herbs, spice, earth and leather. Has a light but firm feel. Light produces just tons of aromatic smoke with an even and strong burn throughout. Taste was enjoyablly smooth and complex. Herbal, earthiness, leather and spice. Tasty and smooth right down to the nub. Will be looking for more of these.

"Average"
Excellent draw and burn. Medium strength. Flavor was spicy with a tea like sweetness but had lapses of mildness losing alot of the flavor. The construction was only fair as the wrapper loosened up at the head.

"very nice experience, almost to the end"
Very nice experience, smoked it outside in my courtyard, while reading. For me, it was on the fuller bodied side of a mild stick. - still mild, but had some interesting taste notes. It did go out once, but I had a phone call, so it could have been that, but construction and draw was great. With about 2" remaining, it got just a little harsh, but I was done anyway. Will definitely buy another.

"Good for 5"
For the price, this is probably my favorite punch. I usually find Punch to be a bit strong on the tastebuds, but this one is very mild and tastes like walnuts and cedar. As always, the construction is excellent with a Punch.

"worth the price"
All i can say is, this cigar is worth the $5 they ask for it. Its my GP ( general purpose) cigar. I smoke at least 1 every day.

"Time will tell"
Bought a box of these in the maduro variety, and so far not too bad. Punch is a staple brand for me, as they tend to have a little more strength and spice. This one is more on the mild side, albeit smooth and creamy. Ill let them age in the humi for a bit, but I do feel that these aren't like the Punch I thought I knew.

"Great Construction and Burn"
First of all, I think this is just about the perfect size (5.25x50), and every one I have smoked burns razor sharp all the way to the nub. While it is a fairly mild smoke, it has a great, if not complex flavor. Somewhat similar to the Fonseca Vintage, but a little creamier, with some hints of vanilla.
Also, this is a beautiful cigar, with virtually flawless wrappers and firm, but not too tight construction. It burns slowly, with loads of smoke. The appearance and construction scores are high, because I have never seen better. And at $3.00 each, it is also a great value.
All in all, one of my favorites.

"GRAND"
The Grand Cru Robusto is a impressive cigar. This cigar doesn't have a lot of complexity, but the flavor that is there is top knotch. You can't go wrong with this smooth, salty, creamy little fat guy. I experience and excellent burn which rounded out an terrific total smoking experience.

"Good mild smoke"
The wrapper of this good-looking cigar is smooth and lightly oily. It burns fairly evenly and the draw is slightly firm; the ash formed is the best feature of this cigar as it's solid, perfectly white, and holds on for a long time. It's a toasty, mild smoke with bready and vanilla flavors with just a dusting of light spice. Smooth and mellow, ideal as a morning smoke, first smoke of the day, or simply for a change of pace.

"Fav so far"
I'm a newbie when it comes to cigars - I've had about 7 or so. This was the most enjoyable one by far. Great draw, nice mild taste, slow burn. Got it in a sampler and plan on buying some more

"This is the way I remember Punch..."
I just had a Punch Magnum Maduro and it was great. I remembered Punch as being to grassy and earthy and that is exactly what this was. It was not smooth and burned harsh. I wouldn't say it was too young since it had been in my humi almost six months. All I have left is the Puro hopefully that goes well.

"So Smooth"
This cigar is one of the few that I will buy a whole box of. It is worth the money (however it doesn't cost all that much). Extremely smooth taste, with hints of earth, cream, and cocoa. Good construction along with strong ash that stays on a good two inches. Must have smoke!

"I'll take a box for 67 Alex"
This is a gorgeous, oily maduro...feel like taking a bite out of it. Prelight is a nice, grassy smell...(mowing). Starts off much more mellow than expected with a fruitiness. After the first inch it mellows further and remainds rather steady, not real complex...but that's not a bad thing...I like the flavor. This stogie is strange in that, usually, a cigar doesn't get mellower, and mellower as you go...but this one does. Great draw. Bunches of creamy smoke. Razor sharp burn, never a problem. When my gf came home she said "whatever it is it's the best smelling cigar (I've) smoked". (That statement should give it a 10 by itself). I'm definitely putting this in my top 3 and possibly a "go to" (at internet prices).

"Sweet Joseph"
A lovely cigar. Bought this one at the stogie shop for $8.25 back in the winter on a night I had to work late. I nibbled on this then at the office over the keyboard until I was absolutely in love. Then I slipped her in the humidor like the whore I am. Called her up tonight. Mmm, boy. Cut was difficult with the punch. My fault. I abused her when I bought her. Lit very nice and burned at an angle all the way down. Creamy—Irish cream with nuts. I was sipping an iced lowland Scotch. Forgive me. The bullfrogs were trumpeting under the moon and the burn burned at a 45 all the way to my lips. Mm. Experience more than can be rated. I want another.

"Natural and Maduro... nothing special"
Tried the natural first, being a maduro fan, I attributed the dull taste to my personal biast. Tried the Maduro, it tasted very dry, with very little flavor other than tobacco. I was very much looking forward reading all the reviews, so maybe if I have a chance I'll give it another try, but so far, 0 for 2.

"top notch smoke"
an amazing smoke, exceeding my expectations. a few sized veins with no degrading importance, oily with a nice sheen..beautiful.
Smooth w/a perfect draw. Complex and medium-bodied. Light grey-ash, cool burning down to the nub. Little bit of an uneven burn in spots, but nothing to worry about.
Starts off with the mentioned cedar and vanilla and a general forest/fresh-cut wood taste throughout. A very slight hint of lacquer every so often. 2nd half is just as good, and I swear, a few strong whiffs of toasted marshmallow..what a nice surprise.
Awesome value for this kind of quality. What an experience.

"Subtle complexity"
The Gran Cru is certainly the black sheep of the family (although a very beautifull one). The construction and appearence is flawless, each and every one is so perfectly round, with nearly invisible veins. It is slightly rough, with just enough firmness in the hand that it won't concave. On the nose, I detected nuances of cedar and black liquorice, with sweet vanilla being very dominate. The flavors are subtle, yet curiously complex, and share similar characteristics of the perfumed aroma. I would definately recommend in the morning before a good breakfast, or along side a sweet and sour asiatic meal...but do NOT make the mistake of smoking after a robust meal (or even an hour or two after a robust cigar) or your appreciation for this cigar will certainly deminish quickly. A good starter cigar for any beginner, who is brave enough to venture into the rather spicy final third phase...yet enough character to entertain the avid affivianado (just remember to smoke one BEFORE breakfast!)...Enjoy!

"Fine Aroma"
This is a top notch cigar, perfect construction, beautiful looks, very good draw. It holds the ash for 1 1/2 inches. It starts with a beautiful perfumy note of cedar, half way builds to cedar and vanilla, and lets out strong spice and enticing aroma, almost perfume. Very dry finish, but still a great aroma. I had the maduro, bought the box. For the price, this could easily be an every day cigar..

"Best punch NC"
The best Punch NC that I've had. Nubbing it as I type this. Been a fan of the Punch Puro's for a long time but it met its match with this dark oily beauty. Has that sweet maduro flavor in a medium bodied goodness. Very smooth with a bounty of great smoke, easy draw and nearly flawless burn. Excellent cigar..

"Delicious (Maduro)"
EXCELLENT SMOKE! This stick had a dark brown oily, toothy wrapper with minimal veins. Very nice prelight aroma and taste. Absolutely gorgeous looking stick with solid construction and no soft spots. Easy light. Perfect draw. Razor sharp burn without the need for correction. White ash. Started with cedar and very mild spice. A flavor of vanilla became apparent in the first third which was joined by a dusting of cocoa. A sweet leather note seemed to dance in and out through the whole smoke. The flavor profile didn't change much through the rest of the 1.5 hour experience, but was still most definitely enjoyable, epsecially as it matches my prefered flavor profile perfectly. Definitely one of my favorites - bought 10 more. All in all, it is similar to the Gran Cru natural, but with a slightly sweeter taste secondary to the maduro wrapper.

"ELEGANT"
A very well constructed cigar with a top notch wrapper. Medium body with a smooth nut cream taste. Burned perfectly even. This cigar is classy and should be handed out to your superiors and not your freeloading relatives! You could possibly get that promotion you have been waiting for! I do recommend you try one.

This stick is well made with a lovely wrapper that draws you to want to smoke it. The foot lit well and had a long lasting ash, with notes of spice and leather that hang on till the very end. A grand punch for the price.

"A looker."
A damn fine looking cigar, w/a high grade CTS wrapper. Pretty veins. A smooth cigar, with a somewhat creamy tone. Medium bodied. Reminds me a bit of a toned down La Gloria. The finish has a nice tobacco flavor & a hint of nuts. The only real detraction is a tendency for the wrapper leaf to crack as you smoke it down. I have found this in Excalibur also.
