Cuban Cigar Box Code

 In the last 4-5 years
Habanos S.A., the Cuban Governments controlling cigar arm has changed
the way they date stamp their cigars three times. Since we have
had many requests to help decipher these mind boggling (not really)
codes, we thought it would help to put it down in writing one time for
all of us to use. Check out the little story below, and by all
means, if you find any inconsistencies, please let us know!
All codes are listed from most current
known, moving backward.

The new codes follow
a five character pattern utilizing the first three places for the
month code, and the last two characters for the year code.
