CAO, one of the world’s foremost premium cigar manufacturers, participated in “Celebrate The Cigar,” a gala party billed as Canada’s “Last Big Smoke” on May 30 in Toronto. The ultra-swank affair, held at Toronto’s historic Drake Hotel, was a celebration of the cigar lifestyle and was the last opportunity for cigar lovers to enjoy their passion before an indoor smoking ban throughout the province of Ontario became effective at the stroke of midnight. Represented by National Sales Manager Micky Pegg, CAO was one of 5 major premium cigar manufacturers in attendance at the hugely successful event that drew over 500 guests. In addition to enjoying CAO Brazilia and CAO Gold cigars, guests were also treated to an eclectic mix of gourmet delights and live entertainment. Among the VIP celebrities in attendance were Five-Time World and Olympic Champion Sprinter, Donovan Bailey, and NHL New York Islander defenseman, Chris Campoli. “CAO was delighted to be a part of this event,” commented Micky Pegg. “The event was a tremendous success for the entire cigar industry, and I was overwhelmed by the level of interest and enthusiasm for CAO here in the Canadian market.” CAO will host the ‘Ultimate Cigar Party’ on July 17 at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Pool & Beach Club, with rock icon Tommy Lee and DJ Aero headlining as guest celebrity DJ Duo.
