It must be the month of December. Everybody is happy, making sure their real nice so Santa brings them lots of presents. Either that, or we got a hold of a great batch of cigars for our December reviews. So here we go again! The last cigar of this month, this year, this decade, this millennium, was the Florez de Florez Cabinet Selection Florez Florez. Long name for a smaller cigar, and what's a Florez-Florez anyway? We don't see the Florez series around much up here in the great white north, but when we do, we'll be snapping up a few. If your counting, we had two average, and three good reviews as it pertained to this cigar. Ohh, you want details! We'll make it quick, Christmas is coming. Draw was good, not to much, not to tight. Ash, average. Initial looks, a bit better than average. But then there was the flavor! As that Cajun chef on cable would say "BAM". This cigar was a fine example of getting what you paid for. The consistency throughout our samples (purchased at a local tobacconist) was outstanding. For about 5 bills a cigar, this is a smoke you'll enjoy. A tad spicy, not overwhelmingly so, and not a "hanger on-er" from an aftertaste perspective. The ultimate testament to this cigar was when the two reviewers known for their...let say, frugalness, asked where they could purchase a few. Upon being revived, we realized we had a great little cigar on our hands. It's worth a try.
