As we have promised, all cigars we receive "gratis" from the manufacturer we will let you know. As you have probably figured out, we were sent these by the F.B. Boyd Cigar Company in Atlanta, Georgia. The Juan Y Ramon Small Churchill is a tad short as most Churchills go, but in Minnesota in November...it works. The JyR Short Churchill has a pale Connecticut wrapper, and lit like a charm. Once lit be prepared, as all of our samples burned fast. These cigars tend to be on the mild side, with little noticeable aftertaste. I can't say we had many reports of "personality" either. These were generally reviewed as average, with two of the reviewers indicating they would not consider this a cigar they would repeat, and another two indicating they would. You guessed it, we had one undecided. As we stated earlier, this cigar burned quick. It had a nice white colored ash, but the same ash was not very solid. For how much I appreciate free cigars, we can't say that this smoke was able to distinguish itself from the large pack of relatively average cigars available today. T25C also received some maduro cigars from the same group, we hope to report that these were able to distinguish themselves more than the Juan Y Ramon Short Churchill was. Vital Statistics: Shape = Churchill Length = 6 1/2" RG = 50 Wrapper = Connecticut Filler = Dominican Republic Binder = Dominican Republic Estimated Cost = $6.50
