Just when you start losing hope, along comes the La Gloria Cubana Maduro Wavell! We be happy! The guest reviewers are happy! The wallet is happy!
Welcome to the world of giddy cigar smokers. While receiving some of the reviews of the manly little LGC Wavell, we began wondering what had been slipped in the mix with some of our reviewers. Everyone was ecstatic! Maybe it was the combination of an excellent priced cigar, with a unbeatable wrapper, better than average construction, and near flawless flavor. Now that we write it...we're pretty happy as well. In fact, I'm going to go smoke one right now.
I'm back...and probably biased, so I'm going to seriously focus on taking information from the actual reviews we received. Here's some comments to get you started:
"Thanks for introducing me to the best combination price/performance cigar I have ever smoked!"
"Damn, I didn't know these things were out there...especially from La Gloria Cubana, thanks for the fantastic freebies!"
How do we top that? You can start with the wrapper and construction, pretty darn good. A couple reviewers mentioned tunneling, but nothing that wasn't corrected with a quick flick of the lighter.
The taste is where most of the accolades came from. Folks experienced a moderate flavor with enough personality to keep you entertained. A "crispness" was often mentioned, along with a nearly complete lack of aftertaste.
Everybody looked forward to additional opportunities to smoke the La Gloria Cubana Maduro Wavell, and we think you'll enjoy it as well. One and all mentioned the low price of this cigar. This sweetheart is what most every cigar smoker looks for, a great little cigar with a price to match. Enjoy, we did.
