New Gurkha Premium Cigar
The Beast Gets His Beauty With Launch of New Gurkha Premium Cigar

Home
Beach Cigar Group’s new medium-bodied Beauty is the third premium cigar in the Gurkha Legend series, which also includes the Titan. It has debuted as a follow-up mate to last year’s full-bodied Gurkha Beast. Beauty is so named because of its tawny-gold Ecuadorean-grown Connecticut Shade wrapper, in contrast to the maduro Beast. Nonetheless, it’s a brawny cigar, at 6-1/2 x 58. Beauty’s tobacco is exceptional: the wrapper is aged a full seven years; the Dominican binder and Nicaraguan filler are five years old. Like all other offerings coming out of Beach’s design studio, Beauty’s presentation is opulent. Like Beast, the 25-cigar box is black with engraved brass plaques inside and out. Refusing to be bound by industry tradition, Beach has encased each cigar in unique frosted glass tubes, sealed with orange caps. They stand upright in individual compartments, to ease selection. The cigars are double-banded, with the Gurkha Legend ring above the Beauty ring. The cigar is sheathed in cedar from the Beauty band to the foot, another elegant touch. Suggested retail pricing for a box is $770.00 ($30.80 per cigar). The cigars are now available at better tobacconists, but at only 500 boxes per year, Beauty is even more limited in production than Beast and Titan.
