What happens when you combine a perfect ash, gorgeous wrapper, consistent taste with a boxed press cigar? The answer is, it doesn't take long for a blind panel of reviewers to realize this is a Padron Anniversario! This cigar was an Anniversario Exclusivo with the Natural wrapper, we thought the natural wrapper would throw some people, but in the end it didn't. Most commented on was the ash of this cigar, it remained perfect throughout the burn. The flavor started romantically mild, growing stronger as the cigar finished. One of the reviewers likened this to lust transpiring into love...someone needs to get out more, but that's his issue! High praise for the draw of this cigar, all reviewed were punched, not cut, and again perfection and consistency were often used as the adjective of choice. Now don't think everyone was on their knees facing south to Nicaragua singing the praises of this cigar. There was one lone negative comment if you can call it that. One reviewer mentioned that the box press of this cigar was not quite as clean as the maduro versions we have seen, I'd have to agree. Funny thing, the only downfall mentioned was caused by comparing this cigar to one of it's own family. More like veiled praise if you ask me. In summary, nothing here that you probably haven't heard already. If you can find this cigar, it's worth buying. Our samples came in at about $10.25 per stick and were bought at a local tobacconist. Once is not enough. Vital Statistics Robusto - Length = 5 1/2 RG = 50 Wrapper = Nicaragua Filler: Nicaragua Binder = Nicaragua Estimated Cost = $11.00
