Alec Bradley Cigar Company has introduced “The Well,” their most creative effort to date, in their third release of cigar ashtrays. Eight designs, from the Miami studio of artist and ceramicist Bram Warren, were selected by Alec Bradley Cigars to harmonize with interior design motifs and color schemes. Warren has gained his reputation for creative excellence for his exquisite ceramic figurines, vases and other focal pieces in multimillion-dollar area homes. Alan Rubin, company founder and president, says of The Well, “Warren’s two previous series have been accepted worldwide by cigar lovers and collectors alike. These are our most creatively utilitarian ashtrays to date, and the all-new combination of materials and colors is nothing less than stunning. Warren hand crafts and glazes each ashtray individually, then inscribes his name into its bottom surface. No two are alike, ensuring their collectibility. ” The ashtrays are 9" square, with cut-off corners. With their 6" diameter x 2" deep bowl, these substantial, impressive pieces have huge capacity for cigar ashes. The wide, 1-1/2" long trough atop each of the four sides holds even the largest ring-gauge cigars securely and comfortably. The most inventive feature of The Well is its removable match holder. A separate ceramic container in the same motif, it fits into a well on the top surface of one corner, and holds 25-30 wooden matches ... it comes with an initial supply. The smoker lifts out the match holder, removes a “strike-anywhere” match, and lights it on the match holder’s unglazed bottom surface. States Rubin, “There’s nothing on the market like The Well. This piece can hold a month’s supply of ashes, and is just beautiful. It’s a smoker’s dream.” Suggested retail price is $95.00, and they are now available at better tobacconists everywhere.
