"Solid Cigar"
Pleasantly surprised. Burned well, mild and very smooth. Quite a bargain for this one. Got 5 for $5 on cigarbid.com

"Great budget stick"
Personally I am a big fan of this smoke. It burns quickly and while it is the not the most consistent of smokes, they are cheap enough that if I get a bad one I don't feel bad about tossing it. To me it starts off rather harsh, develops some great leathery flavors after about an inch, and then turns into a great mix of leather and nuts. I think that for such a cheap smoke they have amazing taste and complexity.

"I'm Back!"
I said I'd get back to you in 5 months or so. Well it's been 7 months and I smoked a couple in between. The result is that the 5 Vegas Panatela didn't improve significantly over that time. The flavor seemed a bit better and the construction not as good, but overall I really can't say, that this is more than just a "plain good cigar" (#7).

"Maybe a Little Aging"
This was my first 5 Vegas (outside the gold line), the stick was in my humidor less than a month, and had a good taste, especially in the first half. There were hints of salt and a pleasant tartness. The panatela really is a great size, sometimes it's a nice change from smoking gars that are big enough to make Linda Lovelace gasp. It burned well, with no runs and I didn't have to relight it at all. In the 2nd half the taste was a little flat. It reminded me of several cigars that improved greatly with a little aging, so I let it sit for 5 months or so and get back to you.

"great little guy"
I got one via a trade last week and I gotta say, this is a great panatela. It burned evenly, lite grey ash, super smooth, and very very tasty. Medium bodied and toasty-nutty with creamy undertones. As mentioned before, smoke it slowly to insure optimal taste. If you're looking for a flavorful everyday cigar, this is a great choice.

"good, but hot"
Good construction and basic flavor of nuts and wood. Smoke it slowly or your fingers will burn. This one became just too hot to handle, even when left alone for a minute or two. Even used the "blow-out" technique if you know that one.

"Nice little surprise"
I was very surprised at this skinny cigar. Usually I don't care for this size ring gauge, but this one had a great burn and construction. Very good flavors of spice wood and some nuts an cocoa. The smoke was nice and sofr too. I like these smokes.

"A pleasant surprise"
A spicy excellent smoke with continual taste variations. Had a good draw considering ring size, ash and burn were very good and the finish was great.

"Pretty good"
Nice little cigar. Burn was good, draw was good. The taste was surprising given the size -- most small ring gauge cigars don't have that much flavor IMHO due to the lack of a variety of fillers. This cigar had some good woody flavor, with a hint of nuts and cocoa.

"Little Cigar that couldn't"
I have had two of the panatela's, in the last 3 mo.s. Both smoked the same, good burn, smooth draw, good amount of smoke. I don't care for the taste. I'll let them sit in the HUMI. To me it taste a little burnt oak leave. Not complex at all. If a few months more in the humidor doesn't work, I'll have to mix'em in with some flavored cigars, and give them away..

"5 star"
A surprise given the cheapo price tag. Mild, soft smoke, notes of coffee and roast meat (Jeez, I thought I'd never catch myself saying that). Excellent burn and draw. Finish was flat and a little dry. Not a bad smoke.
