5 Vegas Series A Apex

I liked this smoke but it lacked something the other Series A possess. I am attributing it to the lack of the cedar sleeve but I could be wrong.

I had the Anomaly Petite Corona and was not too impressed with this blend. The Apex, however, was a different story altogether. Good construction, good burn, great chocolate and cocoa maduro flavors here. I didn't find it to have all that much power - just a subtle spice. I'd call this a medium body smoke. Excellent value smoke for the $.

Kevink got this one right, it is the best in the line IMOA. It's got the light sweetness of a maddie and pleasant hints of coffee and wood. And a little spice in there too. Construction was never a problem. It has a nice cool burn and a very good draw to also. And for the price...this cigar is a winner.

Great draw, even burn, wonderful flavor with some nice hints of spice. Great maduro, I highly recommend trying this one.

Easily my favorite size of Cinco's "A" line. Perhaps the box press makes the difference, as the Apex doesn't turn bland and charry like the Artisan or Anomaly. Flavor never dazzles, but it's a pleasant, cool burning maduro at a fair price. A little sweetness, wood, occasional hints of coffee.
