"Great cigar!"
Appearance: 1 banded cigar that says "601" on the band with a black background and a green leaf. This has an oscuro wrapper on the cigar.

Pre-light: Had a normal tobacco scent

Taste of the cigar: This cigar had an extremely spicy taste.

Construction: Held an 0.5" ash. The draw was perfect. The cigar only required a few small touchups.

Strength: This was a full flavored cigar.

Summary: This cigar was great. I love cigars with a lot of spice. The flavor reminded me of a Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic. I would definitely buy this again. I give this a 9/10

"Don't waste your money"
I hate to rain on the parade here but this stick was virtually tasteless, the wrapper unraveled at the head after I properly cut it I might add and the draw was a bit firm to boot. There was no flavor profile I could taste other than maybe I could say it was meaty and kind of woody but pretty much like smoking paper. Although this was the first one of these I've had, I have noticed a severe decline, especially speaking of consistency; with many of the DPG brands. For the money on this one and all the other DPG's, they have become to me one of the most overhyped and overrated cigars out there. A two dollar Punch or HDM Rothschild has more flavor and consistency than any of the DPG cigars I've tried especially this one.

"Bravo!"
I really really enjoyed this cigar - easily my favorite of the 601 series. As with all DPG cigars, the construction and burn were first rate, and the spice balance was perfect. Notes of cocoa and sweet chocolate throughout intermingling beautifully with the spice. A nice nic buzz to boot. Very tasty, very good. Highly recommended. I see a box in my future!

"Buzz maker"
I too caught a little buzz off this. It starts out with light savory flavors. Then builds fairly quickly to a very full flavor. I smoked this after dinner, so I did not find it too strong, however, it was very close to being too full flavored for me. I have a few more I plan on aging. I think in a few years they will be just right. If you like full flavored cigars, you would probably enjoy this.

"Fuerte!"
Construction qualities are good to very good; draw is very firm. Otherwise, this stick burns slowly with a good volume of cool smoke. A full bodied ride from the first puff. The introductory Pepin pepper is present in the first half inch, but it’s not overwhelming; just a nice wake-up call. Lots of chocolate and a touch of anise follow, accompanied by a major buzz. Take it slow if you're not accustomed to heavyweights. An extremely tasty smoke.

"sweet"
Sweet dark oscuro. This is a nice looking cigar for a decent price. It had a few harsh spots, but overall it was a nice smooth smoke.
