Acid Kong Cameroon

Amateur review: I just got back from a walk around the state capital on a cool Saturday night. I agree that the cigar burned very well, and it had a good amount of smoke. Heck, I even liked the shape of the cigar (flat end). But ugh, I really did not like the taste of this cigar. The smell is very unique (sweet, wine), but the cigar is just strong with no flavor. Just my opinion, and I only smoked 1 (came in the variety box).

Ok, unless you are into professional bowling, the above statement is probably not true of anything but THIS cigar. Fat, with tapering so that you can get it into your mouth, this cigar is a unique look into why ACID cigars have some decene fan fare. The flavors here are basic and woody, but not bad. I would say it is an average cigar with an above average press agent.

I expected more from the Remi line. The Blondie still rocks! Construction was good and the flavor was bland.

I have now had over half of the cigars in Acid's extraordinary line, and damned if the Kong Cameroon is not the most disappointing smoke I've had in a long while. The draw was abysmal. Somehow I pulled in more air than smoke. Considering this comes from the same line that has the delicious Blondie, the flavor is weak and almost non-existent. It just feels all wrong no matter how you smoke it. Yes, it looks mighty fine, but this isn't worth 4 dollars, let along 7. You can get the 1400cc for 7 around here! 6 in some places, and it's worlds better. I've still got the entire Red line to delve into and a couple more yellows...I hope I'm not this disappointed with an Acid ever again.

This looks and smells like an oversized cone inscent. Nice shape and oily appearance. Mild tobacco flavors with NO complexity, nice draw and average burn. All the flavor is in the wrapper. Agree with previous review. Pricey for the smoke.

Nice smoke that lasts about 45 mins. The smoke is well recieved by non-smokers due to the aromatic qualities. A little pricey but worth it for a nice mild smoke.

Because of the shape and bouquet I went into this one with some hesitation, but it wound up being pretty good.

Tastey cigar with an interesting shape. It didn't smoke very long, only about 15 mins with moderate puffing. Draw was ample, and it burned evenly.

Very fragrant and herbal, I have only had one and it was really different. Don't care for the funky shape, but it was a pleasant surprise and it is head and tails better than 90% of the flavored cigars out there. Wrapper began to flake after being punched though.

Funky shape does nothing for this cigar. Great aroma, no flavor. Too bad, might not have been fresh.
