"Canones"
Purchased at Downtown Disney so the price was more than a little escalated. Smoked as close to poolside as permitted while my son had to swim alone for 2+ hours, and I could have made it more. Solid construction for a large stick, but less flavor than desired. Time management necessary.

"Great Stogie"
This was my first premium cigar, it took two and a half hours to smoke, and made me sick as a dog, but it got me hooked on good cigars. I had another recently and it was just as good, but luckily I have built up the tolerance not to get sick! The flavor is cedar and spice, the construction is perfect (remarkable on a cigar this size) Nothing less than one would expect from A. Feunte.

"Ghosts from the past"
This is the cigar I started with many years ago. It was a $1 per stick back then and had some great taste. I loved these and had great memories. My daily smoke is the Excalibur #1 M and has been for some years.
Unfortunately you cant re-live the past. This was an average smoke but has beautiful construction and many memories.

"Decent"
Deecnt attempt by Fuente with a large cigar. Everything is here except flavor. I would have liked it alot more if there was flavor to spare, and I did notice an odd aftertaste. My 1st canones will be my last, decent effort.

"Fuente Canones"
Like most of the medium end Fuente's, consistency seems to be an issue. I have bought Canones that were increadible, and then I have bought some that were mediocre at best. The thing to look for in a Fuente is the oily wrapper and a trusted cigar store. If they are well kept they can be jewels, but if they experience sudden humidity changes the flavor can be altered or even destroyed. This has generally been a good cigar for me. I tend to buy them by the box. Stick to a well known smoke shop and get them when they first come in. They age extreemly well in the humidore.

"A stick for"
Overall this was a pretty darn good smoke. I like the mild, dark cocoa Fuente flavor, and at about 2 and a half to three hours you had better like Fuente flavor. At the price, I would buy these again - you can get 100+ pages into a good book on one of these.

"Another lousy Fuente"
It's probably just me but I just don't understand what the hype is all about Arturo Fuente cigars. I love the Fuente Fuentes & Ashton cigars which are made by the same people but the next good regular Arturo Fuente cigar will be my first one. The Canones is typical of all previous Fuentes I've smoked: it has no flavor whatsoever. To me flavor is what I look for most in a cigar above looks, feel & construction and Fuentes have consistently fallen way short in that respect in my opinion. I got so bored with this one I had to put it down halfway through it.

"Pass on this."
This cigar looks good. Burns uneven, unmatured filler. Flavor is harsh on palate, not a good experience.

"typical fuente"
I have to say that, while I like this cigar, I sort of expected more. Maybe I was just impressed by the sheer size of it, but I just can't say anything really stood out about this cigar...with the exception of the size. It had a typical Fuente taste--and I think by that I mean, "after" taste. Like another reviewer stated, it has a strange aftertaste. I'd smoke if this were given to me, but I won't buy it again. It's a beautiful wrapper. Well constructed. Smoked nicely. I don't, however, care to pay over $9.00 for a cigar.

Great tasting cigar if you have an hour and a half. Rich coffee tastes like Starbucks house blend freshly ground. Delicious. Can purchase inexpensively for $5 on Stogiesonline or their auction site occasionally.

A very fine, very long smoke. There were only two small hitches. One is that the wrapper was a little rough under the band so that when it was carefully removed I still had to spit weld the rapper down where the band had been. Secondly, there was a sli

Huge cigar, can do damage to someone standing next to you if you turn
around to fast. A 3 1/2 hr burn at least. Fantastic taste at begining
