"Amazing doesn't cover it..."
My wife got me 6 of these babes a couple of weeks ago. She's awesome by the way. Well at first I thought I was gong to get somthing that was going to unravel as it burned but I was wrong. Construction was perfect, smooth, and firm. Perfect draw along with tons of smoke. I loved the first 1 1/2, it switched from smooth and buttery to a light peppery taste. The rest of the stick tasted like if the two tastes from before melded together along with a hazelnut toffee hint. Just perfect. If you can find these, you have to pick one up just to try it. I wish these were a bit cheaper.

"2008 BtL"
The combination of the Connecticut shade and maduro wrappers really excites the pallet, and makes for a beautiful looking vitola. Giving off flavors of cedar, coffee, cream, hazelnut, and nuts; it ranges from mild to medium and back to mild near the end. I smoked this one for an hour, it's ash was completely solid, to which I only needed to ash three times. It was well worth the money, especially at 475.68 for the box of them with tax.

"TOP SHELF!!!"
No better way to kick of Super Sunday than with this Between the Lines Beauty!. The appearance is very pleasing to the eye and the construction is solid. A mild bodied, full flavored (woody and some coffee) cigar with that Hemmingway Spice. Slow, consistent burn leaving a thick white ash and lots of aroma. I was lucky enough to get this at MSRP. Hard to imagine that this little cigar provided me with the most enjoyable stress free hour that I've had in a while!

"2005 btl"
It took over a year to find it but I managed to find a box of 2005's for $600- a bargain considering this rare morsel sells - if you can find it- for up to $1100/bx for 2007's.

A solid cigar with razor sharp burn- the aroma and flavor is difficult to explain. A woody and spicy combo- which I have not found in any other cigar.

The flavors and aroma intensifies as it slowly turns to a solid ash- an incredible finish.

This was a real treat and the best part is there's 24 left.

"Loved it!!!!"
Anybody who thinks that this cigar is only cool because of its looks has a tremendously bad taste for cigars. This is one of the best cigars I have had in a long time, and I definitely wish I could get a hold of more. I almost don’t know where to start in talking about this limited release cigar. For starters, it’s barber pole like mixture between its natural and maduro wrapper leaf is a work of art in itself. You almost feel bad smoking it, because it’s so pretty. It had nice woody and grassy core flavors to it and just a little spice, but not the overwhelming spice associated with the rest of the Hemingway line. There were even some underlying tones of coffee. The ash was smooth, white, sturdy and the draw was perfect. The burn was perfect also, and all the perfection led to nice succulent mouthfuls of flavorful bliss with each puff. The one downside was that it did get very hot at the end, which led me to have to put it out before there was nothing left of it. I blew the best smoke ring ever while smoking this cigar, which just capped it off for me. This cigar could turn the worst of days around, so if you can find them and afford them smoke each one with the appreciation it deserves.

"You guys need to move."
My local shop had 50 sold them all for $14. This was an incredible smoke, I came back the next day to buy more and someone had bought the last 15. He did give me one though. Top notch smoke worth $14 not worth $40. The local shop is Knoxville Cigar Co. BTW.

"Loved this stick!"
Very enjoyable cigar. Expected burn problems w/ barber pole style, but at 1/2' in it fixed itself and burned great. Solid construction. Lots of smoke. Mild smooth and a little sweet building to a nice round med. bodied smoke. Never got harsh or bitter and I nubbed it. Great little stick (but pricey)!

"Interesting smoke"
Kind of like crossing the Short Story with a maduro Hemingway.....creamier than the SS, more punch than the MH. Had to relight this one once, but it burned even. Funny thing happened, a piece of the maduro wrapper about 1/2 the size of a time stayed in tact on the ash without burning while everything around it burned. A nice smoke, glad I got to try one (thanks Floydp!), but probably won't buy unless I can get MSRP.

"Nice and smooth"
The cammie was bit much at first but it settled into a smooth and creamy smoke about an inch in. Draw was excellent and burn was slightly uneven, nothing a few touchups couldn't handle. Medium bodied with hints of nuts and like a barley taste. Very good smoke.

"Good smoke, not worth the real pricetag"
$12-$19 ? where If you find them they are going to be at least $30.00, if not more. Just picked a few up in Las Vegas, at Casa Fuentes. Paid $34.00 a stick.

Mild smoke. Similar to a Short Story, But "creamy". It dosent have that bite that the Short Story has. I would pay $10.00 for the cigar, but never again $34. The cigar is beautiful though, I think thats the appeal of the cigar.

"Between the Lines"
This rare favorite of mine is and warm and toasty. Its nutty flavor goes equally well with a mug of Tuaca hot apple pie, or a spiced mocha. In either case, its best enjoyed outside on a wood deck, overlooking a snowy landscape at dawn or dusk. The diminutive size lends its self well to a short break from the family vacation. It lasts just long enough to let you enjoy the quiet solitude, but is over before Jack Frost starts nipping at your toes. Look for this treat at specialty cigar stores around Christmas time. They’re easy to spot because the wrapper is a spiral of dark and light, a la candy cane. If you find them, pick up a couple because they won’t be there the next time you stop in.

"Smoke it, don't look at it"
Like other Hemingways, these don't age well at all. The flavor tends to evaporate and leave you with a pretty stick and a longing for more. When young they are a nice short smoke, but the Short Story tastes similar and is one fifth the price.

"Rare But, Is It Worth It?"
I can say that these vitolas are made rolled by Master craftsmen! The wrappers are gorgeous! I really didn't know if I should have it framed and keep it as a conversation piece, or fire up that bad boy! I chose the later! All aspects of the stick were A1+. Great experience to at least they them once. Great flavor but, a little too mild for my taste. Hey, you only live once, why not try one?......"If you can find them!"

"Unique"
For using two different leaves in the wrapper, this perfecto's immaculate construction is particularly surprising. The appearance is out of this world, and the experience is as well. The entire Hemingway line is one of the best, and this may top them all, and it's certainly among the rarest. Anyone paying enough money to rate the value below a 9 is going to the wrong tobacconist (remember, they don't have to be snotty to be good). I won't spoil the experience by ruining the surprise for those of you lucky enough to get one, but I'll say that while it's a treasure to look at, it's worth even more burned and remembered.

"Great little smoke"
This is a medium bodied cigar and needs to be reviewed as such, even though I prefer a Very Full bodied cigar...With that said...WOW. This is little guy 4 1/4 x 46 Is a very creamy complex cigar. I tasted coffee, some spice like a nutmeg, come cocoa down about 2/3. Nice finish, Even good burn, burned slow but consistent this guy lasted almost an hour. Nice white thick ash (thick picked up ash with toothpick out of ashtray) .... ya proabably never heard a review say thick ash.lol. Great smoke but the draw back is the price, at anywhere from 25 to 40 bucks a stick, not sure it's worth that much money, than again not sure any cigar is ( well except for the pre Castro Dom perignon Davidoff)
