"basic but good"
I quite enjoyed this cigar. I wasn't expecting much. Draw was perfect with a nice white ash though a little flaky. Started off sweet then spicy then woody. Definitely more complex than it's reputation. Unbelievable aroma. Great value.

"its got a bit of a kick"
Picked this up at my local cigar shop on a whim. Nice construction, good feel. Cut and lit beautifuly. Great draw, even burn. Went out once on me about 2 inches from the head. The first 1/2 inch had a bit of a kick to it and is a bit bolder than I usuallly smoke...mellowed out a bit after that. Tons of beautiful smoke and held its ash for almost an inch and a half before i tapped it off. A definate repeat. Smoked it down to the nub with no bitterness.

"Enjoyable"
I've had 5 of these in my humi for almost 11 months and decided to give on a try. At first I was surprised by the strenght but it mellowed out considerably about a 3rd of the way in. The stick I smoked had some large veins and wouldn't burn straight. We'll see how the other 4 do but as of right now I've had better for the $.

"Short and sweet"
These used to be my go-to smokes. Very sweet and cedary. Size is small enough to smoke at the bar and finish it before I start getting too many dirty stares. Never had any problems with draw or uneven burn. Does sometimes burn hot, so you should take your time smoking these. I am not a fan of other Fuente smokes, but I have always liked these.

"Remarkable"
My wife picked up two of these for me as an early Christmas present. She picked out a very remarkable cigar. At first glance I thought she had picked me up my old reliable Punch Rothschild. They are remarkably the same size, and even the similarity of the band is uncanny. As a smoked one I was expecting the similarity to continue but this is where the two parted company. The Arturo Fuente Rothschild (USA/Conn. Shade) is a medium to strong cigar. It is wonderful in complexity and is comparably stronger than the Punch Rothschilds. Remarkable. I am certainly glad my wife bought me two. I won't be saving the other in my humidor for long.

"A little strong"
Nice black color with good nose. Draw was a little tight. Very full bodied and a little strong for me. For you big boys, jump in.

"Not bad"
Liked this maduro better than the fuente chateau maduro. It's good but not spectacular. Good sweet taste and nice wrapper but a bit too mild for me.

"Good $2 cigar that costs $4"
Good, but not great. If they had a different band on them, I bet the reviews wouldn't be so high. Last 1/3 got bitter even after 6 months in the humi.

"Great afternoon cigar"
This one was bought in Fort Myers, and smoked in the afternoon by the pool at the resort....That's what it's best at: a perfect leisure thing, very smooth and sweet, but with its fair share of flavours, say like a cuban but toned down. A lot of smoke and good construction just add to the good picture. Great value, too.

"great bang for the buck..."
I may be a bit partial to Fuentes' as I have not smoked one I have not enjoyed yet and this one was no exception. For the price you can't really beat the quality and flavor. I found it to smoke very even and while it starts off a little sweet and mild in the first half inch or so, it soon develops a medium to medium strong flavor that finishes smooth.

"Steak"
This was a good cigar. I lit it up in the canyon on the hillside near dusk. It lit well and burned straight and stayed solid to the half inch I nubbed it. I can’t think of a better constructed cigar that I’ve tried. Tasted good and spicy, leather—and good heavens, steak? Am I up in the night? I swear I could have been eating a porterhouse with a faint dash of A1. A little bit of cocoa and mint near the lips. Beautiful strong ash. Only had to break it off once. I’m going to need to find some more good small cigars. I tried to smoke it fast and this little guy still went well over an hour.

"OK Cigar"
This cigar started slightly sweet but the draw was too easy and it ended up being a hot smoke. OK flavor, OK cigar

"Alright Cigar"
I thought it was way too spicy the first half inch but it did mellow out after that until the end where it became very spicy again. Heavy taste. Too strong for me. Bad after taste. It did burn even, but the ash was very gray. I'd recommend the Cusano Killer Cameroon over this Cigar.

"Good, but not incredible"
A good, low cost smoke, but a little bit on the woody side. As a beginning smoker I found it slightly harsh. Did not burn evenly, but that may have been related to the cold windy weather I smoked it in. I still liked it though.
Excellent aroma and construction, and a good pretty strong smoke. A good cigar, but I would not personally rate it over an 8.

"Awesome"
I have smoked both the cameroon and maduro wrapper for over 3 years now and prefer the maduro...burns evenly and have never had one that wasn't what was expected. Is definitely medium to strong tasting but not harsh at all...

"Maduro"
5 pak on cbid in celo. 3 of the 5 had huge veins and one looked like a bad second with a poorly applied wrapper, only one of the 5 actually looked decent. Burned 2, one after 1 and one after 3 weeks in the humi. Taste was woody and harsh. I smoke a lot of maduros and these have been quite disappointing. Draw was great, burn good, one of the 2 I have smoked needed a touchup. I didn't get past the harsh ashy taste although the aroma was magnificent. Aftertaste in my mouth was bad as well. I have probably 40 different cigars in my 4 humidors and none I like less than these, even the one dollar seconds.

"Good and even"
A short, even smoke. Had a tunneling problem start up about 1/3 in but it turned itself around pretty quickly. Flavor had some ups and downs in it as well. Nothing out of control though. Overall, a quality smoke.

"Good smoke for the price"
This is a good smoke, but as all of the other fuente's that I have tried, the draw is real loose. You also need to be slow and easy, because if you rush it, the spice flavor gets harsh. I would reccommend for a average smoke or also great for company.
