"Excellent cigar! Very smooth and creamy."
Came out very smooth and creamy. I also enjoyed the shape (torp./pyramid) as it was nice to hold in the teeth. Velvety feel to the wrapper, awesome construction.

"One of the best"
Don't understand what the other reviewers are talking about. Excellent construction and smooth, creamy taste. Burn was completely even, by the way. On par with the Cuban Montecristo #2.

"A pleasure to smoke"
This is an attractive cigar with a nicely applied wrapper. This stick began to burn unevenly but evened out with another lighting. It then burned evenly the rest of the way. The flavor was light, but consistent throughout and seemed to get more potent in the final third of the cigar. All and all a nice smoke with a great draw throughout.

"The worst constructed cigar i've ever had!"
I used to be a big fan of ashtons. The thin wrapper peeled off.Rolled too loose, couldn't keep lit.Relit a dozen times before giving up and watching my golf partner smoke the macanudo maduro i gave him.Ashtons quality control seems to be slipping

"excellent"
This is a high-quality cigar, from the construction to the taste. The pre-light aroma is amazing, and it just LOOKS like it's good, nice golden conn. shade wrapper, good construction(not perfect though-had some uneven burning), and nice rather loose draw.
This is a fairly complex cigar, and it's very tasty--sort of a mild creamy and honey taste. Never gets bitter. It's almost exactly like the Perdomo Reseve Champange, another good cigar in my opinion. These two are dead wringers for each other. However some may think this cigar is too mild--it certainly is nothing like the VSG.
This cigar gives off a ton of (good smelling) smoke. I don't think I've ever seen so much smoke come out of a cigar before.
All in all a little pricey but worth it for those who like mild sweet taste with quality construction .

"Frustrating"
Burn was highly uneven and required constant attention to stay lit. Enjoyed the taste but wished the cigar had been better constructed.

"Boring, but great for a mild cigar"
This was a nice looking cigar and very well made, but it was really pretty dull with regard to flavor. I tried it because I had heard it has a "rich, creamy flavor," and I have been looking for something like that ever since I tried an H. Upmann (Cuban) #4, which is probably my favorite cigar ever. Anyway, this Ashton did have some creamy notes to it, but it was like drinking watered-down skim milk compared to the heavy cream flavor of the Upmann. To the credit of the Ashton, there was some complexity to it. The flavor started out with tea and light cream, then took on some strange fingernail polish notes. Those didn't last long, however. The main body of the cigar retained the tea flavors, but developed some hints of alfalfa, mint, paper and balsa wood. Overall, a great smoke if you like things really, (and I mean really) mild, or are looking for something to give a friend who doesn’t smoke cigars very often, but not something I’ll fire up again unless I’m looking to put my taste buds to sleep. (PS - My numerical ratings are based on how well I think it preformed as a mild cigar, not on my personal preference for it. If that were the case, the scores would be much lower).

"Disappointed"
I really like the other Ashton cigars that I have smoked. I don't know what happened with this one. It had no real flavor and a slightly uneven burn. Overall I was very disappointed with this smoke.

"Mild & Bland"
I was a little disapointed with this one in that its the first ashton I've smoke that I would not buy again. High price and average construction with not much flavor although mild.

This was a really good mild flavored cigar. The only minor complaints were that it burnt uneven throughout and was somewhat pricey for what you get.
