"Smooth Ashton"
I tried a couple of these beauties and then i bought a box with no regrets. Impeccable construction with a fine draw almost linear burn, good ash. Almost from the start smooth with nice flavours, medium strength very enjoyable, elegant smoke.

"Unwind with a mellow A$hton"
Price not being a consideration, If someone asked me what would be a good mellow cigar with which to unwind in the evening, I would highly recommend this Ashton. It's a mild/medium-bodied cigar. Great construction. I didn't know it was a Cameroon wrapper - no tangy/off flavor here though. Smooth, cool-smoking, nutty flavor with good oils being evident. A little bit of sweetness toward the end. Gobs of smoke and an easy draw make this a classy, mellow anytime smoke. The one I smoked was given to me, so I'll enter $9.00 for price, based on internet prices. Ashton - Who says you can't buy class?

"My new favorite"
I had this one for about a year and smoked it recently. Loved it. I am somewhat of a novice smoker (one a week during the summer). It was very flavorful and burned perfectly. It is not very strong and an easy smoke. I highly recommend.

"Good...but short of greatness"
I have been a big fan of the Cabinet Belicoso, so when I saw the Puro del Sol version garnered several stud ratings (including CA)...I had to try one. Ncie construction...great, even burn. Medium spice on a grassy, nutty flavor profile that had a long finish and a perfect draw. Enjoyable, however, I expected more, so I was a bit disappointed...I would not put it in my Top 25.

"Elegant"
This is a must have in any ones humi. The wrapper was smooth and oily with a nice brown shade to it. The foot lit even and burne even all the way to the nub. The only bad thing that I could find is I only had one to smoke. The taste was medium to full with lots of spicy notes of wood and earth and a hint of sweet coffee to the finish. Just a elegant smoke.

"Smooth and mellow"
No. 21 in Cigar Aficionado's top 25 cigars of 2004. The cameroon wrapper is a bit veiny, but it has a nice sheen and a well-shaped head. It smokes flawlessly with a lush draw, straight burn, and a tight ash that holds on forever. Peppery at the onset, it relaxes to reveal sweet wood and vanilla flavors that are smooth and mellow. It does fade a bit at the very end, however, where a nicotine taste becomes evident. It's an Ashton so it's expensive, and it's an excellent cigar; still, I think most people would prefer to spend this much money on a flavorful, full-bodied smoke (i.e. Ashton VSG) than on a flavorful, medium-bodied smoke such as this.

"New favorite"
This size and the Corona Gorda are fast becoming my new favorites. Very similar in taste to the Corona Gorda, this little beli burns perfectly. Extremely smooth and flavorful. Comes with the requisite high price tag from Ashton. Highly recommended!

"Finally"
Been waiting for this stick for many moons.
Wise man say good things come to those who are forced to wait many moons to try favorite wrapper done buy favorite brand.
Much leathery and cedary flavors started mild but each puff brought on more power and intensity
