"Maduro...for Sure-o"
This is a great, "go to" smoke. Great construction. Nice, sweet smacking wrapper of wonderous mahogany color. Nice, smooth draw. Smoke billows for days. Mild, yet fairly complete flavor profile. A great golf course cigar. Also good to initiate your friends whose palate may be virgin...darned tasty.

No doubt a great cigar, but too much money, even at internet discounters, to make this more than a special occasion stick

"Pleasure in the Casino continues"
My first review and taste of this smoke was a year ago in Lake Tahoe. After coming home I bought several more of these cigars from CBID and the Famous Smoke.Com auctions. I let these age over these many months and tried another one. It is even better than before. The flavor still has that minty taste, but it has smoothed out over the year. With the same easy draw, this aged Ashton was phenomenal. I can't wait to try another one after some more aging. Buy using the auctions, I have loads of enjoyment to look forward to at a great price.

"Delicious"
This was a very pleasant suprise. I was gifted this smoke before Christmas and I finally got a chance to smoke it. It had a creamy undertone with a nice maduro overtone. It was well constructed and carried a nice long ash. I'd definitely get one of these again!

"Merry Christmas to me."
Gifted to me several months ago by my friend James. I decided to have it for Christmas breakfast. The flavors begin very mild and develop to med-strong, while the body remains mild to medium throughout with a little more bite than expected. The complexity of flavors includes lemon-creme, vanilla, cocoa, semi-sweet chocolate, charcoal, coffee, and toasted wood all rolled very well within this sweet in this delight of a cigar. The tobacco in this smoke is has been aged to perfection and will only get better if you have the patience. Too expensive for everyday, some minor touch ups required, otherwise perfect.

Love this maduro. The aged leaf is very evident in the flavour and colour. Draw is good on every cigar as expected from Ashton.

"Favorite maduro"
When I feel like an occasional maduro chances are I'll go for one of the Ashton Aged Maduros. Dark and imposing this cigar looks much more menacing than it actually is. It has a wonderful earthy sweet taste and aroma with a mixture of nuts and chocolate. My only criticism is that for whatever reason these cigars burn very unevenly but otherwise it's a solid performer.

"Pleasure in the Casinos"
Bought this somke in the tobacco so at Harvey's casino in Lake Tahoe. Walked around the casino while smoking this cigar; what a great experience. The flavor of this cigar was wonderful, the initial draw before lighting had a slight spearmint taste and it only improved with fire. The draw was outstanding and the construction was perfect. Cost to much in the casino to smoke more, plus I had more smokes from home at the cabin. I am definitely going to add some of these to my humidor.

"Finally ..."
A smoke that non smokers want to smoke. My only complaint with this stick is the flavor .... I want more ! A good wrap and roll, I have burnt up about 10 of these babies and found complete consistency throughout. The flavor is sweet, complex and consistent with a fast draw. This one is a keeper, for sure. I liked this smoke so much, I ran out and bought a humidor solely for the #50.

Ashton Aged Maduro set the bar the rest of the market tries to reach. Smooth and creamy and they only get better with age. The wrapper is dark and mysterious. Love 'em.

"Benchmark"
An amazing cigar: construction, appearance, burn, and draw absolutely perfect. The flavor is medium-to-full-bodied, with distinct notes of nutmeg, hazelnut, cocoa, and coffee, all combined for an amazing complexity and depth. The finish is perfectly smooth, and the aftertaste is long and almost sweet, with hazelnut and cocoa notes lingering for a good while. This cigar is thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to the end, and defines a new benchmark for maduros - Padron, La Gloria Serie R, Avo M, Partagas 10 M, Fuente Royal Salute M, are all very close overall, but in terms of taste this is THE one. An absolute must in any humidor.
