"Good Creamy Cigar"
This was a very creamy cigar. It held a nice long ash. It had a great draw to it with a dense amount of smoke

"First Avo"
I am a bigger fan of maduros but this cigar was strongly recomended by a colleague of mine. Very nice even burn, strong ash, with a smooth mellow flavor. I got hints not so much of coffee but of cocoa. Great Cigar.

"Fine Consistency"
This cigar never disappoints, I can always count on the AVO for a good consistent smoke. Always good construction, never a tight roll, good burn and a good amount of smoke. This is not a very complex cigar however and sometimes presents a bit of a dry grassy flavor. Pretty mild but I prefer a milder smoke. Whenever I give these out to friends I always get rave reviews. Funny thing about these cigars is they almost always start off with a moldy flavor that somehow quickly disappears. I buy these cigars often and currently have 2 boxes in the humi. A little bit pricey but I never have to ditch one of these for a tight roll or bad flavor.

"Best of Milds"
Best Mild Cigar, but way overpriced. This cigar does not lack flavor, which many mild cigars lack. The appearance and drag are near perfect. Spice it up with the Maduro wrapper for a cigar that is more sought after for late-day smokes.

"Not so good!"
Very disappointed. Tasted like straw gone bad. Bought a 5 pack from JR and I will age the other 4. It did burn well but had a barn like aroma. Perhaps I got a bad one or, as I said, they need to be aged. For a cigar this expensive, the 1st one should have been much better. To be perfectly honest, a Gispert Toro Natural was MUCH better and a hell of a lot cheaper.

"A smooth cigar from start to finish"
This cigar is stunningly beautiful with its claro wrapper and attractive band. The smoke itself was very consistent from start to finish though lightly flavored. A very enjoyable cigar especially if you like mild to mild medium cigars. I'll definitely smoke more.

"A premium, mild delight."
The wrapper is flawless and the construction solid. The cigar has an easy draw and burns perfectly straight. The ash is a nice white and holds to the cigar well. The flavor is mild to almost medium, with lots of creamy smoke. The cigar has a toasty, almond nut flavor and is slightly aromatic. There is no major change in flavor for the entire length of the cigar, just subtle shifts between toast, nuts, and a hint of floral. The aroma is well recieved by others, making this a perfect cigar for the cigar bar.

"One of the few mild smokes I continue to like"
As I stated in a previous review, this was the cigar that turned me on to smoking a couple of years ago. It had been quite some time since I'd smoked one of these, and tonight I decided to pull one out after a light meal, in order to determine whether I still enjoyed them. The answer is a bold and affirmative YES. As creamy as ever, the thing that really surprised me about this cigar was the leathery qualities toward the end, a characteristic which either slipped my palate before, or somehow has crept in with age. Everything else, from the solid construction to the handsome, smooth wrapper, remained the same. Needless to say, this is a cigar smoker's smoke; something that can be enjoyed by both new smokers and aficianados alike.

This baby lit great, the toasting was very effective. It burned real even, great ash, lots of good creamy smoke, light finish. I enjoyed it from start to two-inch finish.

"A Great Go To Cigar"
This was my very first AVO of any kind, but it most certainly will not be my last. This is a great, enjoyable cigar, especially if you are an experienced smoker. It is beautifully constructed and burns razor sharp, with a perfect draw. The one I smoked had at least seven months of age on it. It is mild/medium in strength with a solid flavor profile. The first inch or so offers nutty nuances, walnut and hazel nut for me. It is very creamy. The middle picks up some distinct but mild peppery notes, like fine ground white pepper. The balance between the nuttiness, peppery spice and and occasional hint of leather is perfect. This cigar smokes cool and smooth all the way, no harshness of any kind! The perfect stick to relax with. A bit expensive but well worth the cost!

"Decent Cigar but not a great cigar"
I remember having a few of these a year ago. I really liked them back then. Since, then I have tried Maximus, Fuente Anejo and Gurkas. Frankly, the Avo's are good but not great like the above.

"Nice, mild cigar."
Attractive, smokeable, and mild. I noticed some SLIGHT carmel and coffee flavors too. If your just starting out this is probably a great cigar for you to try. I found it to be a bit boring but that's just me. Knowing how cheap I am I probably got these for about $4 a throw on c-bid.

"a little disapointed"
IMHO too mild for me. Found slight slight hints of caramel and coffee. And I do stress the word SLIGHT. Nice burn thought, ash is ok too. First time with a Avo , maybe but just maybe Ill try more...

"One of my favorites"
This is definitely a mild smoke, but even my friends who dig the full body selections enjoy the AVO #2. This was the cigar that taught me what "creamy" meant. I love a heffeweisen with this smoke.

"Satisfaction"
After smoking two of these, I think I've found a new favorite. My only complaint is they get kind of mushy at the end. Excellent mild-bodied smoke and actually worth the 6 bucks. Both of these were given to me but I'd buy one in a second.

"Not bad... not bad at all..."
Was never a big AVO fan. seemed too pricey, always a bit on the mild side. But this time, I had an eyebrow raising moment when I lit up this #2. Caramel-y, still mild but not weak or unflavorful. Nice aroma and effortless draw. Surprisingly long finish for such a lighter blend. Very attractive. Recommended.

"One of my favorites"
At least when the old rollers were in the room. The Avo line from the mid-90's was very high quality. While recent samples fall short of that benchmark, they still turn out a good product. I like the #2 after it's had a few weeks to stabilize. Good balanced flavors and a medium strength blend.
