"Tasty (connecticut)"
I am rating the Connecticut shade variety here, as there is none listed. A very herbal start that has a vegetal tone that continues through the rest of the cigar. The smoke starts off dry, but about an inch in, it develops a very creamy texture to it. It stays that way for the rest of the cigar. The burn and draw were spot on. The price is a little on the steep side, so this isn't one that I can smoke on a regular basis. Definitely worth trying, though.

"What I expected..."
This is really what i was hoping that this would be...a good smoke, with a spicy, yet void of coffee maduro taste. The 2nd half was better than the first, but for the cost and for it being a maduro.....this was a good stick

"Nice smoke"
Very mellow for a maduro. More taste than the usual Avo. Burned nice, did not get hot, stayed tasty even when short.

"Good Memories"
Haven't had one in a while, but the last time I did I recall a really terrific smoke. I definate go-to cigar when you want to stick with the tried and true! Little pricey for me, so I save the AVO's for special occasions.

"Avo #9"
Had my first one in New Orleans during the millenium party...loved 'em every since! Burns even, draws easy and can be kept for awhile without going bad. This is good for me because I travel...a lot.

"Enjoyable"
A solid cigar with a beautiful dark chocolate wrapper, this cigar provided a nice spice and roast coffee flavor in a medium body. Had a clean even burn with the flavor opening up in the second 1/3. Will definitely buy more.

"nice"
A good CTBL maduro. I always compare maduros to the Ashton aged maduro and they always come up short but this one was close. A great wrapper witha rough cap. good spicey taste and mellow maduro finish.

Wow. At last. I am a Bolivar smoker, but this is a non-Cuban that I can truly appreciate. An excellent cigar with a mellow aroma and a strong, earthy, semi-sweet smack on the tip. A sweet long finish.
