"alright"
Not bad, not great. Overpaid at $14 - not worth it. Started off with that "signature" AVO barnyard mustiness. I can't describe the flavor and aroma as it was pretty forgettable. Sorry but all I CAN say is pay alot less than I did.

"Another great cigar by AVO"
I have tried most of them and this cigar is as good as the other AVO lines. After having a handfull of these, I feel they are very consistent and well constructed. Perfect draw and burn everytime. Nice wood and cedar notes, with a touch of peppery spice. A great medium bodied smoke. Great with a glass of whiskey, or a nice dark ber. These stock my humi, and even though they are up there is price, they are worth it.

"As I smoke........"
I attentively tune my senses to this premium stick. Billed as a full-bodied Avo, it does live up thus far. Having received 2 from the site some call "the devil site" about three weeks ago (5 bucks a pop), I decided to go ahead and go for it tonight following a trip to Safeway and buying a bottle of Zin. I figured this cigar would go well with a full bodied wine. So far my impressions are good. It started out cedary, with a light dusting of pepper, very light, almost unnoticable. As I lay it down to rest, the aroma rising through the chilly air into my nostrils exumes a pleasant sweetness, with hints of vanilla. As I raise it to my trembling lips and slowly take a drag, mind you slowly (earlier on I was taking some fast, uncontrolled drags, thus upsetting the balance, possibly pissing off the cigar gods, who, in turn, unleashed nastiness upon my palate) I am met with a richness that can only be associated with finer cigars. The flavor is not too complex, though not unpleasant by any means. Very nice. I must mention that it burns evenly, with a light grey ash. Now, about halfway through, I notice a sprinkling of leather coupled with a sweet woodiness. I gotta say, the aroma is just amazing, more so that the taste. A fine cigar, which I'm sure will de nubbed. Now, regarding appearance: like I said, I got these from a notorious auction site. They must have chosen the ugliest out of the box to auction off. The wrappers, while oily, silky, and golden brown, had some fat un-avo-ish veins i them. I'm sure this probably only occurs in 1 out of 5 or 7 of these in a box, but I gave it a 6 b/c of this. This cigar does have that unique, dominican flavor associated with avos, only with more kick. I like it. That said, I would not buy these at msrp. I would, however, get more at screaming low prices at, well, you know where (as long as I dont get sniped).

"nice cigar"
this cigar was good overall but nothing spectacular, the construction and appearance were both great, the taste was stronger than i expected, it was a little spicy at the end very good overall.

"Very Good for a Davidoff"
Well balanced and the best Davidoff cigar I've smoked in quite some time. Not by any imagination mild, it actually reminded me a bit of a Cuban Partagas--earthy and spicy. Smoke it slowly for most enjoyment.

"Good Smoke"
Started out hot, but mellowed throughout. I smoked the last ones outdoors so may have lighted too agressively. Good tasting cigar and well made.

"Harsh and hot"
A very smooth wrapper, that hid a devil of a cigar. In the beginning it was so hot and harsh tasting, I almost put it down. The middle had some sweet brown sugar notes that rode on top of a meaty charred flavor. The end of this cigar was like the beginning. There was no mistaking the harsh spicy finish of this cigar.

"Money for what?"
Nice cigar. Burned well, good ash..sweet nutty taste. But as I smoked the cigar, I kept wondering if the cost of one was worth it. To me, many other cigars were more memorable that what I paid for this one.
