Bolivar (Cuba) Bonitas

I really love the Boli No. 3 tubo, CJ and PC, so it was time to look into this, another of their smaller offerings. Now I'll tell you up front that I like smaller cigars, I don't often have the hour plus to dedicate to a longer smoke. Nice looking cigars, they are slightly narrower and longer than the CJ. Actually seems strange to have a 5x40 cigar in the lineup for Boli given that they have the 5x34 tubo no. 3, 4.33x42 CJ and 5x42 PC. In any case, I actually like the bonita format with the slightly narrower guage than the PC. Very nice taste up until the last inch, excellent construction and plenty of twang. All in all another excellent small Boli.

Small format but packs the Bolivar experience. This cigar is a pleasant surpise. Burns evenly, a little hot towards the end.

I wasn't expecting the flavor this cigar brought to my taste buds. Good draw and slightly inconsistent burn. Full-bodied and complex with notes of leather, cedar, nuts, and coffee all smoothly rolled into one. Very good Cuban for the money.

starts tangy ... turns into classic bolivar before half way. 40 minutes in havana
