"Good medium bodied smoke"
I enjoyed this cigar, for the flavor, draw and price. Will definately look for next time I am out at the cigar shop. Medium bodied smoke with a hint of spiciness on the tongue. Unique taste, like coffee with cream and no sugar.

"I forget how good these can be."
Scores well in Value and Flavor. At $4-ish your going to get a fine tasting mid to full bodied cigar. Nice flavors of coffee and mocha within a straight tobacco base. I had about 2 years of box time at least on this. Make sure you age them at least a year-ish otherwise they can be very grassy and harsh. After a few bad reviews which I can attribute to impatience on my part I have to write that although these are good...They are so comparable to a well aged thick ring Padron Thousand Series that I'd have to say go with the Padron due to it's impeccable construction.

One of the best cigars I've had in a while. Smooth and tasty till the end.

"nice and strong"
This is a good straight forward strong smoke. The flavor is really one dimensional but that ok.
This cigar is a bit rough. So the cigar is not really balanced out as it could be. Still for a full throtle smoke this good.

"Well if your superman this is kyptonite"
Started off very very spicey, foot little amazingly with 1 match. Pre everything was good, the ash was dirty but strong. The best thing about this cigar was the PERFECT draw, the right resistance and great smoke. Started off like I said spicy, then drifted towards burnt coffee and the best part was the creamy coffee end.
A little bitterness near the nub, but a great great corojo and STRONG. I got it from a local Comacho rep.

"Like Superman!"
This cigar is like Superman ... good and strong! The Camacho Cojo Toro is not much to look at and could burn better, but when you're craving a strong tasting cigar, this is the one you want!

"Meaty"
This smoke has some wow to it. The wrapper was some what veiny and oily. The foot lit even and gave way to lots of big smoke and a salt and pepper ash. The taste was full with lots of toasty and nutty with hints of cedar on the back side. The finish had some hints of fruit like taste. This is a must try after you let it sit for some time in the humi.

"Not much good to say about this smoke"
What could have been a decent smoke continues to disappoint. I've smoked a few of these over the past year, and I've decided I just don't like them at all. The latest had been resting for a year and a half, but you'd never know from the construction flaws. It continued to burn poorly and canoe throughout, no doubt negatively affecting the flavor. The cigar actually went out at one point with about half of it to go, and then again w/ about 1/3 left. At this moment, I sat it down and forgot about it. The more I smoke, the less tolerant of burn issues I become. There's not a whole lot to say about the flavor: tobacco is about all I get, although there were times when it reminded me of camp fire smoke. I don't know that that is necessarily a good thing. This corojo isn't necessarily a beauty to look at either; fairly plain, really. It has some strength behind it, that's for sure. It kept me fairly woozy, and I don't know if I could have finished it even without the burn dilemmas. I can deal with a cigar that makes me feel a bit green so long as it tastes and burns great. This did neither, which, regardless of the nicotine punch, made me feel like puking.

"Best of the line so far."
I've tried the figurado and churchill and enjoyed both but the toro I smoked was terrific. If not for the burn problem it would have bee a solid nine, It was just over medium strength and like Scotty said, had a slightl sweetness to it and smelled very nice. The best so far.

"That's more like it...."
Finally. Nice looks. Nice taste. Mostly medium to fringe of full in body. This stick smoked like a champ...just two minor touch ups. Smoked it to the nub in about an hour and 20 minutes. Gobs of smoke that for a stronger stick smelled suprisingly nice. Flavor comparable to the padron thousand series...a meaty tobacco with some hints of spice and dark mocha. At 4.50 a stick a nice value.

"Wowie-Wow-Wow!"
As Borat would say "wowie-wow-wow". this cigar is one you would smoke when you would want to show some "baystim". Somewhat rough in appearance but still rustically attractive with its dark, very oily wrapper. Spark it up and the fireworks start. Intense flavors, strong, somewhat harsh but very tasty, pepper, spice, a thick fullness. Volumonous smoke. This stick wakes you up and gives you delusions of granduer (keep a commander's sword or war-bonnet handy). They don't always burn evenly, keep a flame at hand. A great once a week socko-cigar.

"I can't win with these."
My Snakebit Cigar. When I smoke these either the flavor or the construction is off. The flavor was fine in the last one I smoked over the weekend. However, the rather fragile wrappers on these split six ways from Sunday on me. It was lumpy, messy, and the draw was too loose. That aside, I enjoyed the flavors in this stick. These have a similar flavor profile to the Padron Thousand Series. I have yet to smoke a Camacho Corojo in this size that has it all going for it. The remaining 2 out of the 3 left from the 5 pack have their wrappers cracked already. Even though I posted what would seem to be two "Average" ratings on these I still would recommend them. Just leave the cellophane on but cut the cell. even with the foot. I do this more and more now to help protect fragile wrappers while still allowing the cigar to "breath" moisture better through the foot. Value rating based upon $3.50.

"Inconsistent?"
I loved the last stick I smoked in mid November. I liked the torpedo from this line I smoked over the weekend. This toro just had nothing going for it flavor wise. It had been in the box for at least 4 months. Don't get too down on these. Sometimes you get a bad one. I know these can be great. I shall retry soon.

"Very Enjoyable"
Let me start with the negative. The cigar looked and felt poorly wrapped, with bumps and inconsistencies. Indeed, the wrapper came apart throughout., resulting in uneven burn and ash. But the draw wasn't affected. Got a lot of nice billowy smoke. Started out with a nice spice and actually got a bit of a buzz at the beginning, like this was going to be a real full-bodied cigar. But it smoothed out and got creamy as Camachos tend to, and produced some very nice flavors - cedary, rich, with complexity. Nice aroma, very clean on the palate - no bitterness or flatness in aftertaste. The more I think about this one, the more I like it. Other than the wrapper breaking up (and that could have been just this particular cigar), this one delivered the goods. Especially good considering the price.

"Solid, meaty, yummy stick."
I figured this would be one of those "sacrifice smokes" I would sacrifice smoke this stick to save the others around it. This stick had suffered some major damage in my box as it sat right below the humidor lid oasis and some water leaked onto the cigar. The wrapper was swollen and a torn mess in the middle. Prelight aroma was a nice meaty tobacco. First third was very tasty. Kind of a meaty tobacco flavor with a hint of spice that was nice. I was expecting a disaster in the middle third but she held up nice producing a fuller experience of the flavors mentioned in the first third. The last third was a bit soggy but very enjoyable. The sacrifice smoke turned out to be enjoyable. Overall, an hour and 15 minutes of deep oily gobs of smoke with some very nice spice and meatiness to it that just hit my palate right. Med to full in character. Finish was nice and as mentioned in several review here it did not overpower and linger in a bad way like the RP Edge did. Very impressed with this. Got this as part of a sampler will enter $4.50 for price paid. Truly a great value here.

"Strong and good"
After all the hype I was expecting a powerful smoke and it wasn't nearly a strong as I expected and that's a good thing. I foune tis cmoke to be Med-full in power and a delightful flavor. Outstanding construction with a great draw and burn, no problems at all. This was a very enjoyable smoke. This is a creamy smoke that has great flavors and is not overpowering. Very little finish on this smoke. Very recommed.

"Very consistent, enjoyable smoke."
I enjoyed this cigar but was expecting more after reading some of the reviews. I have smoked half of the box I bought and all have burned well to the bottom with no harshness or strong aftertaste. Its good but won't blow you away.

"Very good"
The Camacho is still one of my favorite Honduran blends. One note of interest; it does not have a heavy after-taste that remains on the pallete like many other full bodied cigars. Wafts of billowy smoke, creamy bouquet, very pleasant consistency with lots of earthy body. The draw became very tight on several. Perhaps that is due to smoking them in the snow, but around the campfire in the fall it just can't be beat. I try to keep at least one in my humidor for special occasions.

"Cream Soda"
I bought a box at a good price. It's dated DEC 03. I am a novice to cigars and so I found this to be stornger than any cigar I have ever smoked to date. I like the smell it reminds me of cream soda. The draw was a little tight and the ash was peeling. It did not look great. I am hold some aside for aging and I hope it burns and draws better. The blend changes in July 2004 so look out for a cigar with more complexity.

"I keep these on hand"
This is one of the cigars I like to have on hand. It's the chicken noodle soup of my humidor. A comforting smoke, with some complex flavors and a very good aroma, this cigar keeps me interested. Every now and then while I'm smoking one, it nudges me to pay attention: The flavor gets richer and longer on the palate, the smoke gets more macho. The smoke is tropical, woodsy, gently enveloping; the flavor is good tobacco, cocoa, cheese, older Burgundy. It has a pleasant and consistent draw and burn.

"90+ For Under $5"
This stick was a great looking, outstanding smoke. The burn was "perfect" down to the end. The flavor was full, leaving a slightly sweet after-taste. Totally disagree with the previous reviewers. Can't wait to try the figurado. Highly recommend!

"Not the Corojo I remember"
If this is what Camacho calls Corojo it is not even close to what the Cuban Corojos were. Fairly mild with a straight tobacco taste and bitter after taste. Dissappointing.

"Not as strong as hyped"
For some reason, mine was a round stogie (contrast box-pressed.) Sweet tobacco flavors. Fairly 1-D flavors of smoke, tobacco, sweet, and some sour. Not that strong.
