"Has potential"
I just got a box, and will be updating this review, but this one is based on a single smoke. A good looking cigar, the prelight effects were very heavy, and earthy...the initial flavors were very good, somewhat vaguely reminiscent of somewhere inbetween Cuban Rafael Gonzales, and Ramone Allones Specially Selected....but high-hoped notion quickly went out the window shortly into the 1st phase...I just got a box and they haven't had time to level out in the humidor yet, but as is, I experienced serious burn problems; first, uneven beyone corrections, then it tunneled....but the flavors were strong and this was good for me, I think in 8-12 months, these will be a joy to smoke, and for the $2 a piece I payed (at box price), if I'm right, than I will be very happy with this purchase....but for now I'll let 'em sleep a bit before I try again....With flavors this strong however, they really should benefit well from short termed aging. A very affordable smoke, with exciting promise. BTW, I'm attributing most of the burn issues to smoking right out of the box, so I won't let that influence my rating in the construction category too much....the draw is just right. In time, I this rating will without a doubt be higher.
