"Outstanding!"
I picked up a box through JR. At $50 for the box, I could not believe the quality of these little guys. Perfect burn, beautiful white ash, easy draw and tasty notes of cocoa and coffee. I've smoked 4 already and they are consistently outstanding! Due yourself a favor and buy a box if you ever catch them on sale again!

"Will age them"
Got these on special from JR. In my limited experience Camachos age especially well, so I thought I'd put these away for a few years.
But I just had to try one to see what I might be in for.
Beautifully constructed, but the wrapper seemed a little dry to the touch. Probably from traveling across country and only resting for a week before I smoked it. Razor straight burn. The taste started out very chocolatey but quickly the chocolate was overcome by an oaky, earthy flavor that made me wish the cocao would assert itself again. Not that the earthy flavor was bad, it's just that I was loving the slightly sweet cocao. As I smoked the earthy taste deepened and I really enjoyed it. I'm hoping that with age this cigar will show some more sweet tobacco notes and the complexity that I love will come forward. Right now it is a delicious after dinner smoke.

"After a year"
After more than a year in the humidor, these cigars have really come of age. I really liked them before, now I feel like I made a mega deal! These are smooth, chocolate, even burning gems. The only small knock I have on them is that they are a bit light in materials and so burn a little fast. Other than that, I really like these dark beauties. My only other complaint is that JR cigars sent me a broken box...and it is a darn cool box that I wanted to keep. Oh well...the cigar still tastes great!

"short of expectations"
Other than construction, these are nothing like the Padron Maduro. That being said, smoked my first one right out of the box, it was a little dry and lacked heft, the cap had some crumbling when snipped. Might need some time in the 'dor. I also might plug the next one. Burn was even, ash stays nicely, plenty of easy to draw smoke, medium spice throughout. Somehow this still lacked the flavours I look for in a maduro. Though the box is nice, this may be the last one I buy.

"Gets even better"
I'm not sure how a reviewer can give this cigar an "8" and still say "Not great not bad either". That is a rating for a first tier smoke bud! A rating that I agree with, not that these have had time to mellow a bit in my humi.

"Pretty tasty"
I generally avoid smokes that come from one retailer, but I was gifted one of these soon after they were released and thought it was quite nice, with enough spice to make them interesting. A great cigar for a lazy morning with coffee and paper on the patio.

"Camachocolate"
Hee hee, I think someone put the wrong price into their review beacuse the average price paid is way way off there 🙂
The main thing that will sell this cigar is the camacho name, the next is the deep dark look to this stick and the cool box you can get them in. The stick itself is a well-built, but only just above average stick in the flavor department. Medium, with spice, will keep most smokers from becoming too dissapointed with a box purchase. Look GREAT in a large humidor where you can display the box as well.

"Nothing unique"
This was very similar to the Onyx Reserve IMO. Maybe a little more development in the flavor as the cigar moved on, but nevertheless, didn't float my boat. First-rate construction, though and worth making up your mind by trying it yourself.kk

"Just got 'em baby"
One smoke review. I got these about 10 minutes ago but have been looking forward to them for a while. For a JR's only item, they are surprisingly good. But after all, it's still a Camacho. Great construction - solid as a rock - burn and ash are superb. The taste: coffee and cocoa with a sweet creamy aftertaste - very nice indeed. I would compare this to a Padron maduro, but that is about the only one 'cuz it's surprisingly similar. The wrapper is a little rough, but an email from Christian said it's a mexican maduro so that explains that. If you enjoy the regular Corojo line, I think you'll find it's a truly mild smoke with a slight spice that tingles the tip of the tongue. I would say morning smoke with coffee for now. We'll see how they age and try one after a heavy meal. Just maybe...

"Just a Great Stick from Camacho"
Smoked one brand new, right out the box with no down time. Pre-light aroma was barnyard, like a great stick should be. The construction and appearance are a beautiful rigid box press, which was nasty oily, with a perfect draw. The flavors are all espresso, which made it pair well with a cup of coffee. I would definitely call this cigar medium to full in strength and body, not Joya Antano or Cuban Bolivar BF strong, but for my personal taste, leans more towards medium. My top rating would be for it's thick, chewy smoke with an incredibly rich aroma. Great stick for the price. Although I am not huge Camacho fan, I must say "Well done, Julio and Christian Eiroa!"
