"The Price is Right... but smokes r average"
Hope aging improves the complexity of the cigar. Sour notes at start with dry nutty taste. half-way through improvement with spicy wood flavors. solid construction and draw but nothing to write home about. Comparison to Padron '64 is assine.

"Good Smoke"
I found this cigar to be not very complexed, but surprisingly smooth. It had a slight coffee medium spice about it that stayed pretty consistent throughout. Very well made box pressed cigar. Ash was tight with a slight greyish tint. For the price I paid ($50.00 box) excellent value, but at standard pricing just average. A good smooth smoke to end the day.

"Pretty good smoke"
Dark, oily, well constructed with few touch-ups of the wrapper in the 2 3/4 hours this cigar lasted me. It starts off mild and just kind of a general "good cigar" taste, nothing special. Flavors build during the second third with hints of coffee and spice. The last third got even better with an increase of spice and cedar and I nubbed the cigar.

I bought these cigars when on sale for $70.00/box and would buy more at this price but probably not at the normal, $100/box price. These cigars do get better with age and I'm smoking one every 3-4 weeks so, by the time I get to the end of the box, they'll have some age on them.

"Surprisingly Not A Padron '64 Clone..Yet Good"
Perhaps it was Lew Rothman, who weilds mega-clout in all things cigars, said this was a Padron Anniversary "knock-off". Well, I can't see it myself, but that said this is a great cigar on it's own terms. First, the construction was very good. The box pressed nature gave it a nice density yet it drew quite nicely with a hole punch. As for flavor it is a medium strength smoke that seems mild just because there are no edges. All the flavors are rounded and balanced. No cinnamon or pepper like spice just earthy expresso mocha like tones with a nice toasty and buttery short and clean finish. Perhaps not as complex as the Padron in comparison, yet still a satisfying smoke. Mine are approching the 3/4 of year mark in my humidor and I must say I think they are getting better because I did not remember them to be so smooth and rounded taste wise when I first received them. Bottomline...A very good middle of the road smoke indeed

"good but hyped"
I saw the JR comparison to Padron Annes too, and that is a joke. It is like comparing a cadillac to a mercedes. That said, this cigar has some good power compared to other maduros, and has good construction and solid flavor profice. The price can be nice from time to time as well.

"Bad comparison"
JR had this written up as Camacho's answer to the Padron Aniversary. Although this was a decent smoke for the price there is no comparison in anyway. The first third of the cigar lacks any distinguishable flavor. As you get further into it there is a bit of a nutty flavor with hints of cocoa. The second half of the cigar was a medium to full flavor, with some more spice. good burn, above average construction, however a below average attempt at a box press. I'll have to see how they age.

"I Don't Get It"
I was very excited to get these only to be hugely dissapointed! First off, they feel about as weighty as a swisher sweet (that was great when i was 15). Putting that aside, i had read rave reviews so i was willing to dive deeper. At first puff, i felt this stick to be somewhat sour. After the first 1/2 inch of that, the cigar smoothed out a bit only to leave me with, at best, a bland earthy flavor. I went no further and tossed the cigar and returned the remainder of the box. Amazingly bad for the price. Try El Rey Del Mundo, for $30 less, there is no comparison. Terrible, absolutely terrible.

"excellente!"
Camacho's tribute to the Padron anniversary series is a home run. Medium bodied, sweet and nutty, it smokes smoothly down to the nub.

"Very Negro"
The Camacho Negro is a beautiful, dark and oily cigar. The construction is top-notch, with the draw and burn being just as good. Medium-bodied with a wonderful espresso and cedar taste, I was impressed. A bit pricey but overall a very solid experience. You really can't go wrong with Camacho.

"Camacho's maduro"
This cigar was smoked after the ups delivery arrived, at first it was fairly mild to almost bland, but after a few inches it started to develop earthy and nutty notes which started building into a satisfying cigar overall, I would buy another box if given the chance and expect with some down time in the humidor these will get even better, oh by the way the box these come in are one of a kind, better than alot of humidors you can buy.
