"Still like'em"
This is the hidden gem of the CAO line, though my favorite is the Brazilia. Medium body and strength, always well built, never a disappointment.

"Oddball wrapper"
This arrived in a package deal. CAO Black band with a candela wrapper. Good looking with slight irregular burn. Good cigar, but nothing to write home about.

"C.A.O has a winner here"
Smoked this cigar right after being delivered and it did not disappoint, it is reminicent of a Brazilia but a little more omph, fine cigar for those that enjoy maduro cigars.

"mild"
this is the mild one of the CAO clan. Still a mild/medium smoke compared to other brands, but do not expect the usual bang that most of their cigars have ( e.g. Criollo and Extreme). The wrapper on these is top notch, as well as the build and burn. Creamy taste with hint of spice, comparable to Macanudo Robust. Look for them at a discount at CBid.

"Decent"
I've smoked 4 of these. All of them a good smoke, very aromatic. Mild at first then full around the middle. The only problem is the finish is a little harsh. Nothing a glass of sweet ice tea can't fix.

"Too bad...."
Had some construction problems with this stick. A real shame as this cigar had good flavor and burned well with full white smoke and a decent ash. Got this one with a sampler pack but do plan on buying more.

"overrated"
i bought a box of these and i have tried three now, and i've come to the conclusion that these are a very overrated cigar. they are by no means bad, but very bland and mild. not near the ratings they are receiving. the construction, draw, and appearance are all really good. but the flavor is just not very complex or impressive. i would say its worth trying but temper your expectations.

"An excellent cigar"
I am on my second box of these. I love everything about them. Perfect draw, nice flavor and construction I know what I am going to get every time I smoke one. If this were a little stronger, it would be perfect.

"Quite good"
Well this was my first Black, box # 322 and I was expecting a lot and it DID deliver in volume. I found this cigar to be a beauty to just look at. Upon lighting it had a very easy draw with great construction and razor sharp burn, every one in that box did. Now the taste was nutty, sweet, creamy and a lot of pepper with a hint of vinilla in there. A very plesent smoke gents. Recommened.

"Lively"
Spunky, tasty stick with toast and pepper. Mellow strength for the first 2 inches. More intense flavor and strength arrives around half way and the finish definitely keeps your interest. A little overpriced but worth it on occasion.

"Great cigar"
Great looking cigar with an attractive ceder wrap. My first of soon to be many CAO Black line cigars. Very enjoyable with wonderful construction, perfect draw, super smell, tastes spicey with smooth tabacco and sweet notes. I smoked this cigar for 2 and 1/2 hours with a few relites, my fault for talking too much. Wonderful experience and definitely recommended.

"yum yum gimme some"
I have no idea what the "black" is all about other than the black ribbon on the foot of the cigar ---- but, I love this cigar --- very nutty and sweet nothing fake or bad here. I have several in the humi and intend to never run out --- complex and fleeting. Have never had one that burns bad or a bad build. Get some now!!!

"A great cigar"
Not sure if they changed the sizes with the re-release. The format that is closesest to this size is the Gothic, which is a 6"x52 torpedo. I find this to be one of the best $6 cigars out there, and I say that after going through 3 boxes. The form is superb, with smooth wrappers, flawless construction, and perfect draw. Out of more than 60 sticks I only had one that was misbehaved in terms of burn, and that one corrected itself in the last third. In terms of flavor, these are medium to full bodied. If you clip them higher up to create a larger aperture, you get a stronger cigar. These have a good balance of spice throughout, with flavors of leather and berry and a wonderful, mellow sugar cane sweetness with a hint of vanilla. My preferred expensive cigars are Cohiba robustos and siglo VI's. The Gothic has a similar flavor profile in many respect. While not quite as luxuriant as the Cohibas, for 1/2 to 1/3 the cost they provide far better value. An outstanding cigar.

"Excellent"
Very handsome chocolate brown wrapper with excellent construction. No soft spots. Miniscule veins. Starts strong and mellows. Predominantly leather and complex spice with some vanilla and mild cream. Very smooth and east draw. Lots of smoke with nice aroma. Gray-white ash and very even burn. Finishes with mild lingering pepper undertones that is not harsh. Smoked in the late afternoon and took about an hour ("Bengal" size - 6"x50). Definitely stands out as one of the best sticks I've had in a while. Bought a fiver, and would most assuredly buy a box in the future.

"Very good"
I bought a box of these and let them sit for a few weeks before partaking of them. Construction was excellent and the burn was very even with a decent ash, To me it was mid/body and smooth. Taste was quite creamy and pleasant with a touch of spice and a hint of vanilla. Very nice smoke and a good price.

"CAO must do something"
No line of the CAO's does anything for me but the Brazilia. I not sure what I'm expecting them to do, but most other cigars in there catagory seem to have figured it out.
