"As promised..."
I ended up buying the box at the strong recommendation of a friend. It was, by far, worth it. This is a masterful effort by CAO. Thus far, the best of the CAO product I've tried.

"Taken by Storm"
This is a spicy, little devil that keeps coming at you right through the finish. If you like black pepper and cinnamon flavors in you gar, you'll like the Storm. This stick also goes well with a good beer. As usual with a CAO smoke, the burn and draw were very good.

"I am Not Sure On This One"
Well, when it comes to maduro and dark wrapped C.A.O.s I perfer the Brasilia or the Italia. The flavor did not impress me.

"CAO's Best?"
It amazes me that while CAO's Italia, Brazilia, MX2 and other marketing gimacs get tons of pub, these go relatively unnoticed by so many. In my opinion, they are the best all around smoke CAO makes. If you want a peppery smoke with a medium body, and good construction that won't make your stomach turn from the nicotine punch, this is your smoke. And they can be had at great prices on CBid!

"age it"
This is a great smoke after a few months of age on it. When I first got them they were a little harsh but after time they really smoothed out. Nice earthy smoke with a nice spice with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and pepper.

"Not Bad"
This was my first CAO Black. Have some from samplers. As with all other CAO's, looks great. This one started out really harsh but after the first inch, transformed into a great tasting cigar. Earthy, smooth, with good cedar flavors throughout. Maybe after a few more weeks the initial harshness will go away. I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a good medium cigar with a nice moderate finish.

"morphing"
these seem to have had the blend changed over the years, now much more bold and spicy than in the past. Appearance, burn, flavor, and finish are all CAO top-notch.

"Good mild cigar"
If you like mild cigars, then this one could be for you. The construction was generally very good and felt very sturdy. It has a nice cedar wrapper. The only negative was that there was a strange splotch (somewhat greenish about the size of a quarter inch in diameter on the cigar underneath the cedar wrapper). Prelight aroma was good. First third I kept thinking that it was very mild and reminded me of grass. I know kind of different word to describe a cigar but that's how I felt. It's super mild and smooth. 2nd third I felt the same way, it had slightly more flavor but with very mild and my port actually overpowered it a little. Not very peppery. There were a few draws during this part that were very good and those were creamy and buttery. The last third I was expecting harshness and it never came. Still smooth and mild. The burn is a medium grey ash and holds well. Overall, if you like mild you'll like this one! I personally like 'em a little spicier with more left on my palate but I'm rating this in the context of a mild cigar and keeping that in mind, it's excellent. If you like strong, this one proly ain't for you.

"Oh yeah, Smooooooth!"
Compares very favorably with the Carlos Torano 1916 Cameroon.
Nice pre-light aroma, sturdy construction, very even burn. Smooth and mellow with a hint of spice.
Great stick, especially as a freebie with a CAO Black Man O' War purchase.

"Layered spice"
This cigar is extremely smooth, but has a very nice spice to it. Hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and black pepper are a few of encountered flavors. Very crisp and clean draw every time. I give this cigar negative points on construction, because every single one I've ever smoked (over 25) has had a very thin and shallow wrapper which disintegrates over time.

"2/3 as good as a SigloVI"
2/3 as good as a SigloVI and only 1/3 the cost. This one really blows 90% of cubans out of the water on flavor and construction. The average cost of cubans I can get is about $12 a smoke these bad boys are less than $8 this one is mild to medium and filled to the brim with flavors. Bottom line BUY ONE!

"Not bad at all."
I have several of these stored from sampler packs but had never smoked one until now. I'll defintely be looking forward to the next. Starts peppery/spicy and flavorful. Mellows some after the first few puffs and gets creamy with notes of sweet cedar and licorice. Nice looking silver/white ash that holds for just over an inch. I wanted something medium bodied as to not overpower my pallette for something stronger later on and this was perfect. A good any time of day smoke.

"Excellent"
Slightly better than the Gothic IMHO, it has a similar flavor profile of toastiness with some oak, cedar, nicaraguan earth and cocoa overtones. It was medium+ in body with a good burn, good ash and never harsh even down to the fingers. Some spicy overtones at the beginning were especially nice. Highly recommended in the medium+ range.

"Lemme' see here..."
I have now tried 3 sizes in the Black line. All of them offer smooth, creamy flavor. Having said that, I would also have to say though that the Frontier wins. It offered much more flavor and a nice spicy, peppery kick with a hint of vanilla. I have not gotten that from the others. Don't get me wrong, I like the Storm. In fact I have a box resting in my humi now for about 6 months. It is definitely a cigar worth trying. Thank you CI.

"Well rounded"
One way to describe this stick is well balanced. I find it to have a smooth full flavor tobacco taste. Great medium bodied cigar. A little pricy for me though.
