"Enjoyable"
Another great looking and tasting Brazilia. Major complaint so far with these is the very irregular burn that warrants constant attention. Maybe I should have gone for another box of Sambas.

"Good, worth the money"
Appearance was excellent. Pre-light aroma was earthy and decent. Wrapper was dark and just slightly oily...perfect. Taste was much more mild than expected with that dark wrapper. Smoke was smooth and not harsh but lacked any hints of flavor. Draw was good throughout. Burn was even and ash held for almost 2 inches. One re-light at the end. I smoked it till it was a nub and wished that I had another.

"Okay smoke"
Smoked 5/17/08. Got it part of a powerhouse 16 from Thomson. Slow start, average middle, bitter end. Wasnt as impressed with this smoke as I hoped I would. During high points was toasty and full of flavor. Even burn, decent draw, just not my cup of tea. Maybe aging would have been helpful.

"Bueno!"
Delicious dark beauty from CAO. It's a shame some of the recent reviewers could not pick up the wonderful flavors in this cigar but hey, taste is always subjective. Great cigar, go out and try at least a couple if you haven't yet.

"Mellow"
I picked up this cigar yesterday from my local shop...was planning on leaving it in the humidor for a while but my interest got the better of me.
This is a big cigar, weighty and well packed. Prelight aromas of cedar and wood. The wrapper was very smooth with a few larger veins. Overall, this seemed to be a well built cigar. However, as soon as I began toasting the foot the wrapper began to split in numerous places. This problem continued as I smoked. I would give this a very low score as far as construction is built. The wrapper is just too delicate for such a large ring gauge.
Now, on to the flavor. This cigar had a flavor unlike any other I've ever tasted. There were definite cedar tones and other woody hints. However, there was also a slightly sweet taste, almost like liquorice, which I tasted on my palate and lips. As the cigar progressed there were splashes of pepper and spice. Overall, this was a tasty cigar, medium bodied, with just enough variation in flavor to hold my attention. Lasted a solid hour. For 6 bucks, you can't go wrong.

"Flavorful behemoth"
Great pre-light aroma, lot's of smoke, good burn, nice draw. Ash can be a bit flaky, but that's the nature of the leaf used. Plenty of compliments from passers-by. Great flavor, and I've never had a bad one. If they were a bit less pricey (this is true of all CAO) they would be pretty near the Holy Grail of cigars.

"Better than avg."
Unlike other reviewers, i did not have wraper problem after I left the Cigar store and lit up. However, I was almost sold a cigar, which a torn wrapper which seemed tissue like. The draw is perfect, as others have found. I do not find it a strong cigar at all (I smoke La Flor Double -L's which are the strongest in terms of Buzz (not taste you can find). The taste was med to full, to my tastebuds. It smelled good. I walk home, in the streets of New York, with a lot of other people who always give me looks. So that is a big factor for me. Not as good as the La Flor D-L 700, but a very solid smoke.

"waste of time and money"
Not sure what several of the other reviewers were smoking but i agree with ExitDose, Great look, good draw and it all ends there. Like women, looks aren't everything. I kept waiting for this one to deliver but it never happened. Started mild with little taste and stayed that way.
Save your money and get more bang for your buck.

"full flavored good experience"
This cigar is full of an excellent flavor that is contributed easily by the thickness of the cigar. C.A.O made a good call on this one by only allowing teh production of this flavorful smoke in thick sizes. Overall this is my personal favorite C.A.O cigar. ENJOY!

But the taste was excellent. I also had a few wrapper issues but nothing that prevented me from finishing the cigar. I prefer the fish though, by a mile.

"Nice"
Since i have recently tried the C.A.O Italia Piazza, i figured i try out it's sister cigar the C.A.O Brazilia Amazon. The massive 60 gauge might seem intimadating, but once you the cigar up you will find it has a gentle smoothness. The massive smoke along with the subtle spices worked to togeather to create a nice medium flavor. The construction of this cigar was amazing. It produced an ash straight up to the label, forcing me to gently remove the label in order to the ash. Though the cigar was nice, it did not give me the complex full bodied flavor i was expecting. All in all a good cigar.

"Hard to finish"
This cigar has a great taste, but the construction makes finishing one impossible. The rich, dark Brazilian wrapper is too thin for such a thick smoke. I purchase a box over a year ago and with every stick the wrapper splits and peels as the cigar expands from the heat. By half-way, the wrapper has fallen apart completly. So now I reserve my remaining Amazons for yard work smokes and toss them when they become impossible to finish. I also found the 60 ring gauge too large for my taste.

"This sucker is hugh"
It took awhile to get used to the size of this cigar. Although I enjoyed to taste, the nice draw and the plesant finish, the construction was poor. The wrapper near the foot started to peel away from the cigar. Eventually the fire caught up with the peels and everything was fine from then on.

"Threw me a beat down"
This big woman just beat the crap out of me. I smoked it with a couple Guinesses and man, when I was done I felt like I needed a nap. I'd say this is the strongest CAO I've smoked, and I think I've smoked most of them. I have to say I liked the CAO Maduro in the metal tube better, flavor-wise, but this one lasted a solid hour+ and really delivered a thrashing to my silly ass. By far one of the best looking cigars I've ever seen, with the band and the dark wrapper. I'd smoke one of these in front of Arnold and I'd smoke it with pride.

"The best so far"
For the past few months I've been testing out cigars to learn to develop a taste for them. I like almost everything about cigars but smoking them was the part I liked the least. I like having humidors more than anything. I purchased the Amazon because I liked the way the Brazilia gol! looked in a cigar catalog. I let the cigar sit in the humidor for about 3 weeks. I lit the cigar and had it with a cup of black coffee and a slice of raspberry chocolate truffle cake. This Amazon is the best cigar I've had to date. It was tasty and smooth from the beginning unlike a lot of cigars that get better after smoking an inch or two. Hints of cocoa and spice were detected. This cigar burned fairly evenly, the ash was strong and draw was perfect. I now have more Amazons in the humidor and will let them sit for a few months. Smoke them slow and not on an empty stomach. Well worth the price.

"Bergie"
It is without a doubt, my favorite cigar. I have 2 humidors full (150 each) with a box each of the Inpanema, and Samba. I enjoy smoking these sticks very slow...they stay lit and burn even. A very smooth robust flavor that tickles my nostrils. Coco, a bit of leather and a gentile hint of mellow pepper. Just fantastic

man, I just had one of these and it was really really good. It was soo good that i was sweating. I dont know if I like the 60 ring, it was a little bulky in my hand but the flavor and construction were great. A little caveat...make sure you smoke these on a full stomach cause if you don't they'll make you pay

"A Stinker"
I'm a big fan of the CAO extreme line, so I was excited when these came out. At first I sort of liked 'em, but they just did not wear well over time. I can't put my finger on it, but again, a strong cigar is not necessarily a good one. Reminds of Starbucks' overroasted coffee. Worse yet, the aroma is sure to offend others around you.

"Jalapena at its Best!"
Geech . . . CAO Brazilias are slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite cigar brands. Having sampled the Samba and the Gol, this one did not disappoint me. However, I found this stogie more subtle and a tad smoother than its two brothers. Hints of pepper, Mocha and yes . . . a pinch of anisette just to balance it out. Maybe my tastebuds are numb due to smoking too many Gols. Anyway, take your time on this one. Hmmmm . . . Maybe it's time to buy some stock in CAO . . . if they were public. Damn good looking cigar also.

"Only 60 RING GAUGE?"
WOAH. I have to say C.A.O does it again. I liked the GOL, but this big guy wow. Everything was great, construction, burned evenly, lot's of smoke, great ash, and talk about flavors, I'm not sure what I didn't taste, From cocoa, choc, to spice to hell everything. This guy never burned hot, smoked it right down to my fingers. However the only drawback is you have to have a big mouth, the 60 ring gauge really gives your jaws a work out. Overall considering the price and hell even not considering the price (Inexpensive) a great cigar

Great construction, visually appealing! A Real Smoke Stack. If it where a car it would be a corvette. A plethora of tastes. Great draw and even burn everytime. You'll want to set aside 1.5-2.0 hours to smoke though, otherwise your doing yourself and the cigar an injustice. Probably will need your clips too, as you'll want to smoke this fella all the way down to your little nicotine stained fingertips!!!

"A Standout"
Smoked my first one at the Big Smoke in Vegas in Nov 01. I smoked so many cigars in one weekend, it was hard to remember any of them... except this one. It was the only cigar I found myself craving after the event. Given the massive width and dark wrapper, it looks like it'll be knockout strength, but it's not. There's a lot of smoke, a lot of flavor, and it's difficult to imagine any experience cigar smoker who would not enjoy it.
