"Decent smoke"
The story behind this cigar for me was that it started off great and turned into a nightmare. The taste initially was wonderful, creamy smooth taste with hints of chocolate. After the first ash the cigar started to tunnel and it eventually tasted like I was sucking on an ash tray because of the burn issues this cigar had. The wrapper split during the smoke, and it tunneled until it tasted so bad I let it burn out. My ratings for flavor are pre-tunnel/construction issues to be fair

"Pretty package"
Nice looking stick that proves you can't judge a book by it's cover. A disappointment with incessant burn problems.

"Nice Surprise"
Received this cigar as part of a freebie from CI upon purchasing a box of CAO Americas. I had heard considerably more negative than positive comments on this stick, so perhaps it was the low expectations, but I was quite happy with this smoke. Very light in the hand, but still densly packed and well constructed. The unmistakeable Cameroon flavor was of course their, but did not dominate the cigar, as I feared it might, despite the Cameroon binder. Pleasant wood flavor throughout. Above average construction for such a large stick, and I was very pleased with the draw.

"CX2 = BADX3"
CAO went with a gimmick or bad research on the CX2. They put two Cameroon wrappers on this cigar. In the case of the CX2 less would be more. They would have done better to have put one GOOD Cameroon wrapper instead of the two crummy ones they used. However I loved the way this stick looks. The black and gold band with two ovals on the sides reminds me of Zorro for some reason, however the taste was more like Sgt. Garcia.
The construction was a problem from the begining and it started flaking at the head very early. I had to touch it up several times and I didn't think the draw was right until the last third. The flavor also was remarkably, unremarkable and not particularly good. It finally got better toward the finish, but by then there were only about three inches left. This cigar is not as bad as my Review Title, but I thought it was clever and this cigar owed me that since it took up about 90 minutes of my time at least. I'ts not really terrible, however you do better to try something else for that price.

"JUNK!!!"
I was really looking forward to this one, but man was I disappointed!! First off, this cigar looks beautiful, but thats about all it has going for it. Its safe to say that the cameroon wrapper is one of, if not the most fragile wrappers out there, but if you even hold this cigar wrong it starts to fall apart. The initial 1 1/2 in. was nothing speical, heck, I would even say that my Petersons I got for $45 a box had more exciting flavors than this. After the first 1 1/2 in. is when the damn thing started flaking apart on me. I tried to save it but it became so bad I had to throw it out. Overall, don't waste your time with this one, there are many other smokes out there that are much better for half the price.

"better than expected"
When I lit this cigar I was a little suprised........I really found that the initial aroma was quite present. Frankly, I was not expecting this cigar to be as good as it was. It was medium to full bodied with some complexity. It was creamy and what can be described as a sweetness in the first third of the cigar. as it burned it got a bit of spice through the rest of the cigar. Great burn. I do have to say that this cigar sat in the humi for probably 3-5 months......Mabe people need to stick a couple in the humi and let 'em sit

"sometimes sweet"
I rather enjoyed this cigar and smoked it way down where I received one hell of a buzz. It lit easily enough and maintained nice flavor throughout, though the wrapper was very fragile (even for a Cameroon) and flaked considerably. I am curious how much this affected the smoke. I suspect not much. I would smoke this again though it is not cheap. I was gifted this cigar by a CAO rep so the price was right.

"Only Fair"
I agree with JJMD that this cigar was milder than I expected, with just hints of spice near the end. Picked up on the wood and leather flavors but really not much more. It is an imposing looking cigar that burned even and drew well, producing lots of smoke. Just not what I expected after smoking Brazilas and Sopranos of the same size.

"Restrained"
Frankly, I expected a little more from this stick given the hype. Attractive milky brown wrapper with minimal veins. Suprisingly light in the hand given its size. Easy light. Loose draw. Even burn. Volumes of white smoke. Flakey white-gray ash. Started with Cameroon sweetness, nuts, and mild vanilla. This transitioned to a mild wood flavor (particularly oak), nuts, and a faint sweet leather in the first third. In the 2nd third, I picked up a hint of black cherry and a slight tangy flavor that I couldn't put my finger on. The flavors intensified in the last third, with distinct leather notes and a citrusy flavor. All in all, this medium-bodied, mildly-complex 1.5 hour smoke was not overwhelming. I kept waiting for it to "open up" more, but alas it never did. Seemed restrained to me.
