"Nice to look at, Not worth the trouble"
I thought this was a nice looking cigar. The draw and burn of this cigar is terrible. Not worth the effort. I stuck it out 2/3 done because the flavor promised to develope and never did. Have had lessor workout in the gym

"Great flavor, poor smoke"
Alas, this great flavored cigar was ruined for me by an extradornarily poor draw. I would not recommend this cigar to anyone because it simply is not worth the effort to smoke it.

"garbage"
terrible burn, terrible draw, wouldnt stay lit and when it did it canoed. a lot of spice in the flavor, but it was killed by the horrible construction problems. this one had a premature death.

"Impossible draw!"
I hate to have to put in a bad review for a CAO cigar since they are usually very good. However, I found this lancero to be unsmokable. It had been sitting in a very stable humidor at 68% for between 6 months and a year so over humidification can't be blamed here. The draw was so tight that almost no smoke got thru and keeping it lit was impossible.

"Don't waste time"
Superb rich coffee flavor is undermined by severe burn problems. You may as well just get a cup of expensive coffee and skip the cigar; you'll enjoy yourself more.

"I see a trend...."
Great flavor, construction absolutely SUCKS! I cannot believe this stick got the reviews it garnered with CA, they must take about three draws and quit. If the construction were satisfactory, this would be a great cigar.... and if pigs had wings they'd fly (according to my grandmother). CAO seems to be heading in too many different directions at once lately, I think their standards are heading downhill.

"Tasty...however...."
This was a very tasty cigar. I loved the balanced flavor. The bad part is the construction. I couldn't keep it lit and the burn was very uneven.

Great flavor, smooth as could be. But the damn thing kept going out...if even a few seconds elapsed without puffing. Too much of a pain.

"Almost great"
This cigar could be one of the best in the world but for a glaring construction flaw that makes smoking it a chore—a way too tight draw. This is the second Lancero that I have smoked and both suffered from this problem. That fancy pigtail must be the culprit. It’s a shame because the flavor is excellent with rich smooth smoke, especially after aging for eight months. Fix the construction problem and you have a winner. But with it a looser.

"About time"
It's about time that someone released a cigar worth waiting for that wasn't Cuban. I love this size, it doesn't compare to a Trini, but still is a cigar worth smoking, plenty of flavor and oomph, try it, you'll like it.

"over rated cigar"
What an overrated cigar. Not even close in taste and appearance to the extreme belicoso. Flavor was too subtle and bitter. Cigar burned hot and unevenly. Go for the belicoso or maduro instead.

"Did it again."
Just when I was getting dissapointed in all the crappy new cigars that were hitting the market, CAO comes up with another winner. On the stronger side, but not as strong as they used to be...or maybe since the eXtreme's release other new stronger cigars have redefined strong. Nice even smoke, fantastic initial taste, and pretty good the rest of the way as well.
