"like every other eXtreme, build is suspect"
I've had these sitting around for at least three years now. The wrapper texture is kinda rough, but the color --a deep, dark reddish brown -- is tempting. Construction is a disaster. They always try to go out, and my attempts to save them cause them to burn hot. A constant struggle. Flavor is a little metallic, with weird notes of wet leaves. Age helped this one little. Irretrievably awful.

"good"
I got these on a closeout, less than 3 bucks a stick. The first was somewhat harsh, but after a 3 month rest, they were much better. Good burn, peppery taste, medium/full.

"One of my goto's but......."
I'm a fan of the Extreme's, but I bought three boxes of these from JR's (great deal $69 per box) and two of the three I've had from these boxes were awful. I'm praying that a little humi time will straighten them out. When they are good they are really good. But, if they are contracting them out to a new roller, it was a bad idea. Inconsistant cigars from a manufacturer are a curse, maybe the humidor and a little more time can fix the rockets that have made their way into these boxes.

"pooly wrapped - too tight on draw"
Ok flavor - bought 10, all had a trerrible draw. CAO not responsive, to customer request. Will not purchase any CAO cigars in future.

"Don't go out of way"
Sample hard to draw and suffering from harsh tobacco. Sweet and wood Nic tastes with tough aroma off the Ecuador Sumatra wrapper
